First and so far only actor to bring me to tears with their performance. An inspiration as an actor who is able to do both friendly/heart-warming and malevolent/intimidating really well.

I cried twice during The Green Mile, but his scenes at the end really broke me up. He was a great actor and sounds like a wonderful person. Sad to see him pass so young.

I heard some coverage of his passing on NPR the other day and I didn't realize that he was not a formally trained actor. That only makes his performance that much more amazing in the Green Mile. R.I.P., Big Mike!
