I have no idea why American politics seems to dominate most of my Internets...I'd very much like to see what issues are being discussed inother countries of the world, and not just on a BBC News basis

I am voting for Mitt Romney. Obama inherited a tough situation, but has done absolutely nothing to make it better.

He created thousands of jobs, and would have created more if it weren't for stubborn conservatives.

I am voting Romney because despite the fact that I dislike Romney, at least he isn't a borderline socialist blaming everything wrong in the world on George Bush. Romney is not going to win this one, I know this but I will not give my vote to that failure. I just wonder if he will have a hard time blaming the his next 4 years of failure on the former president, when that will in fact be himself.

Well in Australia we have diffrent things being disgussed only recently the primeminister of Australia was slandered by a radio annoucer
The primemister Julia Gillards father ecently died and the radio annoucer who is well know took a shot at who saying that her father would be upset on how she is wrecking the country
I have to say she is slowly wrecking the country but she also has the greens who were voted in helping her distroy what we have

Why would you vote for a polition who does not care about the lower class people
if l was voting someone in l would want that polition to consider others

Nit just one class of people

Oh one thing l was amzed about is China and Japan being at logger heads

it is all about a few islands that were taken over by China in world war 2

Now japan wants in back in there hands

All talks have not gone well
I hope they dont go out fighting for what they want or geez we could be heading for war

That is why you keep up on what is happening in politics

Well , it all depends what sites you visit. Joblo got a wide variety of users from around the globe but it's at least 50% US.

We have a proverb here in Canada : "When the US sneezes , Canada catches a cold" meaning we are very connected and we are better knowing what's happening over there. Pretty sure other countries feel the same since the USA do have a big influence on western policies ( just think RIAA/MPAA fighting for american copyright all over the place)

That leaves you with the rest ..... China & Asia , the Middle East , Africa were english is a second language and most of the news is not in english which make it difficult for us to make a sound opinion.

Not to mention that politic is probably the worst subject on a semi-anonymous forum beside religion. Giving full access is like spreading wood , gasoline and matches around the members and telling us not to start a fire. Bad idea imo !

I'd rather they keep it a close circle of intelligent discussion than open the forum to everyone and turn it into a flame war.

Or if i can put words in the prophet Ron Burgundy's mouth ......

Narcissist. Oh, and how do you take a bow "in" making something? I could understand you taking a bow for making something exciting, if that were actually the case.

Reading people discuss politics is more amusing than exciting. I really wonder when enough people will realize that we arent choosing between multiple parties with different ideals, but between one capitalist ideal with different faces split into two parties. It hasnt really mattered which party gets elected since Reagan repealed Glass Steagall, the financial industries have been guiding the U.S for a few decades now.

True that. Clinton did do his deal that put it over the top though too. I forget the name of the doc, but it was narrated by Matt Damon. It was awesome and almost all true without bias

In Australia we dont take politics serous as the Americans do

But l think since the thread has been opened up it has been full of imformation and the chance to post in there is great

I am learning so much by asking qestions and also starting my first thread on jobs

Oh Erroneous thankyou for posting in there because this gives me encouragement to learn about how the American goverment works
Plus also to other members in there l also thankyou for adding me in to a few topics

no .. it's a meme born out of Skyrim since guards had like 20% chance to tell you that in a voice reply but it might also have been born from Family Guy where some recurring jokes are about Peter scrapping his knee and going "Ohhh-Argh-Ohhhh-Aaaaaaah" for 3 minutes. Like the chicken and the egg , i don't care about origin .. i just find it funny whoever is right.

Geez Jaw 2929 Erroneous was joking around about the above comment

I have to say myself that it can gets heated in there about politics because everyone has a opinion on the election between Obama ans Mitt Romley

I was disappointed that Australia only got abit of the debate between Obama ans Mitt

They said that all Omama did was ramble on about nothing
But for what l seen of Mitt Romley he did say he would help people out but he didnt have a proper thought on what he wanted to put through

But like l said l wish l could have had more imformation on what the two of them were going to do to fix the ecomony up
  #36
Old 10-05-2012, 04:02 PM
Romney won but lied .... what does that tell you ?
  #37
Old 10-05-2012, 09:32 PM
Well they say that Romley won the debate but l heard there is going to be another two which will be interesting

Just because Obama lost this one doesnt mean he might win the next two

You see alot of politions lie so they can win

I bet half of what both politions say will not be used if one or the other win

It is called a joke man. Hence the just kidding comment. You really are a liberal. We can have different opinions and it is not a fight. It is a discussion. If we had a real physical fight, you would not last very long.

Ah Erroneous the comment about the physical fight bit is not good even though you might win does not help

Oh do you know my brother was a boxer in his day and he could come out with a good punch
He taught me how to swing my fist and land a good punch
