Hello guys,

I watched this movie (accidentally...) in 1989 when I was 5 years old. I still remember a few scenes very vividly, but I can't remember enough to find the movie itself.
The movie could be from the early to mid 80s

- It's located in a skyscraper or a shopping mall
- Some people are going swimming in a large pool
- A woman tries on a feather boa in a clothing shop when suddenly the glass doors close and she slowly suffocates
- I think that the house is trying to kill the people inside

Judging by your pic, you didn't age very well.
Other than that, it sounds like a mixture of 'House', 'Night of the Comet' and 'Dawn of the Dead'. Other than that, I'm not really sure what it is, sorry :/

Possibly called "Dark Tower". Look into it, if you have nextflix it's in the instant viewing.

definitely not phantom of the mall if it is anything haunted/supernatural...i used to own that and still remember it mostly.

Too bad... it's not Poltergeist III, Night of the comet or Chopping Mall.

Phantom of the mall looks good - i will try this one next

Just a stab in the dark because I don't remember much of it... but Cronenberg's SHIVERS is set in a high rise apartment block. Maybe ?

Alter Mann,...I am guessing the movie you are thinking of is The Initiation (1984) starring Clu Galager and Daphne Zuniga.
Though it's not an entity/ghost of the department store killing the teenagers movie. I only have seen it once. I do recall alot of lady toplessness and some decent kills and it took place in some rich girls father's 20 story department bldg. It's available on netflix instant watch, and here is the imdb link

I have to have a look into some of the before mentioned movies.

I had a little chat with my dad, he also still knew a little something:
It's no shopping mall, it's a big mansion (maybe of some rich insane guy). There's a scene where the gate to the house cuts a car in half.
And some wires inside the house are trying to kill people...
