Bones - Season 8

Anyone else a fan of Bones?

It is one of the few sciency-cop shows I can stand and it is pretty good. I was a little let down by the season premiere last night though. I like the arch villain thing they do every couple of seasons but this guy is just annoying. Also being a System Admin / PC Guru, half the stuff this guy is doing is so far fetched it irritates me. The wife, who isn't a nerd like myself, does not seem to mind. I am excited about this season though. Anyone else?

Pollante is a great character. I love how cocky he is. Especially since he seems to have earned that cockiness in that he truly is that intelligent.

I thought the season premiere was very solid and gave us a satisfying conclusion to last year's stellar cliffhanger while still letting Pollante win, kind of. Can't wait for his return later in the season.

Yes, I like this show but I haven't had a chance to see the premiere (and I missed a lot of the back end of last season, as well.)

Yea he really is a challenge to the whole team and my nitpicking is more to do with the reality of what the technology can actually do I guess, not so much the character. That kind of stuff annoys me to no end. Like the movie Hackers, a great movie but sometimes I just want to punch the screen as it shows them hacking into a pc by "flying" around the servers.

I guess it is the same way for a good mechanic, watching movies like Fast and Furious and the ridiculousness of what they do to the cars etc. You just gotta sit back and remember its a movie/tv show and enjoy it.

Eh not liking this season much.

I really did not like how they made a big deal about the bad guy being egyptian and then boom, next episode, not a single mention of him. I mean I know it is a continuation thing and he will pop up from time to time but at least mention something about it.

This episode was ok at best.

Well l have to say l have been a fan of Bones since it began

I like the serous side of it plus gezz the two main actors can be funny to watch

So Moviemaster are you veiwing the new season of Bones

What dont you like about it to the other seasons of Bones

First off l think you went overboard with your comment

if you didnt understand what l said you should have aske what l said in a more polite manner

All l can say now is that l have enjoyed Bones the series it is a pretty good show

Also l like the two main characters who can take on a serous or funny role

I have not seen series 6 but as soon as it is aired on Australian tv l will be watching it so l can post my comments here

The finale kicked ass. I was on the edge of my seat for the last 10 minutes!

For a while, I thought they might actually kill off Sweets! Very glad they didn't though because Sweets is easily my favorite character on the show.

I was worried about Sweets but then I thought he's a very popular character so the show would be running a VERY big risk by killing him off. I wasn't thrilled with the ending and having Booth breaking off the engagement. Both he and Brennan are very intelligent and yet there was NO way he could somehow tell Brennan what was going on and why? And as for Pelant, I agree with some of the earlier comments. The all-powerful computer hacking is too much. Managing to cause gridlock in downtown DC?

Yes, but his abilities make him for a great foe. And his gridlocking D.C. added to the suspense since it was a real race against the clock.

I think Pelant is a terrific bad guy. And you know Booth is going to be aching to take him out now because of that ending. Pelant is easily the best bad guy in the show's history. He needs to die. Not be arrested, but to die. Okay, when Booth merely just arrested the sniper guy (played by Arnold Vosloo) I was severely disappointed. They better not make that mistake again with Pelant. When they decide to end his story, it better be a bullet to his head and not just be arrested. That's my only concerned. This show never seems to be able to end a cool story well. The sniper ended disappointingly. So did the Grave Digger and don't even get me started on the Gormogon killer. I hope this is a first and Pelant gets a satisfying ending when the times come.
