Hi everyone,
I'm a huge fan of 'eco-horror movies'; films in which Mother Nature gets her sweet revenge on mankind. From man-eating plants, skin-crawling killer insects and rampant reptiles to blood-thirsty beasts.
There's so many great Eco-Horror films out there from the classics like Jaws and Them! to ozploitation hits like Long Weekend, Italian Knock Offs like The Last Shark as well as Grizzly, Piranha, The Swarm, Little Shop Of Horrors...the list is endless!
There's a new Eco-Horror film that comes out in cinemas next Friday that I cannot wait for called The Bay! It's directed by the dude who made
Good Morning Vietnam and
Rain Man and is about a mutated parasite (an isopod) that lives in water and quickly infects the whole town causing gruesome panic! It looks AMAZING! A little like Shivers!
What are your favourite Eco-Horror movies of all time?
