Has anybody else seen anything on the long anticipated KRUEGER/Hills Have Eyes III?

The last that I heard about this film was way back in '98. Wes Craven and Robert Englund had both done an interview for Fangoria and had talked about the new nightmare KRUEGER. It was to be a film about Freddie before he was burnt to a piece of doggy raw hide. Is this project ever going to be? I for one would love to see Wes and Robert get back to their horror roots, even if it is one last time.
Also, any one heard anything new on The Hills Have Eyes III? I heard that it went into production two years ago in the Palmdale area of California, and have still seen nothing. Did it go straight to video without my knowledge?

from your topic I was afraid it was going to be something like "The Hills have Freddy's Eyes"

KRUEGER has been canned...it wont happen.

During pre-prod The Hills Have Eyes 3 slowly became a movie of its own. Its now known as The Outpost or Mindripper. I reviewed it recently and it sucks!

Actually Arrow, The Outpost/Mindripper was released in 1995.

And yes, The Outpost/Mindripper is also known as THE HILLS HAVE EYES III and it does suck. Where is even the relation? But yet, the first two weren't so great either.
