Norman Bates, because he looks so damn friendly.
On the other hand, Leatherface gives me the creeps as well.

Candy Man is by far the most freakiest mutated killer in all the horror flicks i have seen !! He is a full on physco killer and all round freak! I have seen the biggest range of horror flix and horror killers and Candy Man is the only one who succeds to freak me out! The way he melts away at the end of the movie (good bye to the flesh) which is the first of the sequels just gives me the chills! The Candy Man always drops hints in each scene of who will be the next unlucky victom!! Who agrees?

The sister in Pet Semetary scared me too. Its actaully a man playing her.

I think Leatherface in the original Chainsaw is pretty scary. That first scene where he clubs the guy, drags him in and slams the door still gets to me.

THE SHAPE!!!!No question.I also think the Cenobites are scary, and Leatherface could give you nightmares.Chucky was scary in the original, but so was Freddy for that matter. And Scorpio in Dirty Harry, the scene right after he pays the guy to beat him up,he looks freaky!

Michael Myers has to be the scariest. Especially in the first Halloween, I think it's a combination of that mask, the theme music and sound effects.

Michael Myers is definitely the scariest, especially in the first two Halloween movies. That chilling mask, the music, the atmosphere, etc., all build up to make him far more terrifying than Fred Krueger or Jason Voorhees. Letherface is pretty chilling, too.

For freakiest, it'd definitely have to be Robert Englund in A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master. No, not Freddy, but Englund in drag after Kristen knocks herself out after finding that Kincaid and Joey are dead. Freaky!

Candyman, The Tall Man, but the scariest one would have to be Pumpkinhead.

The cenobots are just freaky looking. And I'm not talking about the new ones that came about in part three. I'm talking the originals. I thought it was great when they showed pinhead being made.

On another note about Hellraiser, did the ending of part two bother anyone. It was like, "this is your devil, a giant rubix cube." It was a little strange.

Would have to go with Micheal Myers or Leatherface like the rest of you but that Micheal Myers wannabe wasn't as scary as the other ones who were the real ones.

Hannibal Lector and Patrick Bateman: Anyone who could look so refined and yet be so vicious really freaks me out.

Candyman: Tony Todd's face is freaky to look at. Looking into his eyes would be so torturous.

The Mbwun (The Relic): Only book I ever read that scared me. The glowing red eyes got me. That thing is so damn ugly and scary looking I think I would die just from looking at it. Mean Mofo.

1. THE WOMAN IN BLACK
2. MICHAEL MYERS

Whoever said ZELDA from PET SEMATARY - good call! I know she wasn't a killer but she SERIOUSLY SCARED the SHIT out of me when i first saw this when i was about 10!!! The way she moaned, and her twisted back. UGH! I saw this movie again, about 3 months back, i hadn't seen it for a good few years. I seriously winced when she came on the screen. All the fear came flooding back. She's not as scaring now - but i'm a BIG boy.

~SPOILER ALERT~

SCARIEST KILLER in COSTUME/LEAST SCARY out of COSTUME: Mildred Clinton in ALICE, SWEET ALICE.

Also the hag's mask in CURTAINS was genuinely creepy, as were the clowns in CLOWNHOUSE.

I think that THE CUPID, from VALENTINE is one of the scariest killers in scary movies. GHOSTFACE and MICHAEL MYERS are also very scary. I liked the costume that the killer from URBAN LEGENDS: FINAL CUT wore, although it's not very scary.

I got Boogeymen for my friend on DVD and we watched it and I would personally say the scariest would have to be Leatherface. I've always wanted to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I just can't get around to it. Now, I'll definetly go out of my way to see it.

I'd have to go with Michael Myers. Just something about that pale, emotionless face that's so eerie, especially when it appears from the background.
