Did you like From Beyond? I did, but I'm a big Stuart Gordon/Jeffrey Combs fan.

Funny quote. Nothing springs to mind immediately. I'll give it a think, or some one else will get it, no doubt! Sounds kind of familiar.

Within the past 8 years. What do you call that? It goes 70s, 80s, 90s, thousands? tens? zeros? Whatever, after the millenium.

Don't get impatient with us. When someone posts something and others just don't recognize it, even a vague idea what it could be, they're not going to respond. I have no idea what the quote's from.

I've noticed that you said you were going to quite playing the games. And I've also noticed that you post pretty obscure things, like Rabid Grannies. Not a hell of a lot of people have heard of that one, let alone seen it. Most people here are above average horror fans, but most of them don't have working knowledge of Troma movies, for instance. And, personally, if I hear that some movie sucks, I don't watch it, like most straight-to-video/dvd.

So, what I'm suggesting is that you don't quit playing but that you keep in mind that there's a variety of different players with different levels of knowledge, so try to go for movies that are more or less known to horror fans in general rather than obscure ones known well by expert horror conniessoirs. (I probably spelt that wrong!)

So, was this movie theatrically released or went straight to DVD? Is it considered a good movie or a stinker?

The time that I posted a Rabid Grannies picture, someone got it, so that was a bad example to give. Of all the times I've played these games I've only used Troma films twice, and this one ISN'T one of them. Besides, what fun would it be if everyone posted clues from the Friday the 13th series?

So, this one isn't Troma and it might have been straight to DVD, I'm not sure.

I'm very sorry I rubbed you the wrong way. I was only trying to help because you seem frustrated with the rest of us for not being able to guess your clues from the games. I'm only suggesting that maybe they're too hard for a lot of us. Of course we don't want to do plainly obvious ones like Friday 13th. (Then again, I stumped some folks just a bit with a carefully cropped picture of Buffalo Bill's poddle - so, you never know.)

I only guessed your picture by trying to guess what movie had the initials "dhtl" that I've heard of. It took me a while to work it out!

I'm hoping someone else will come around and guess, because I'm pretty certain I haven't seen this one. Sorry.

Ha, now I know you haven't seen this one, you just said in another thread that you haven't seen it. Hint: I used the same movie for two games at once.

Hey, mcfly - that's not how the game works. I got the last one correct, so it's my turn. You have to get my quote correct in order for you to earn a turn. Anyway, yours is from The Thing.

The Descent. One of my top 5 fav horror movies ever. Plus I watched it again two nights ago. Beth tells that to Sarah. You were just one movie off, Kikab. Ok, I'll have a turn. This is too easy.

"to tell you is that we ain't got no entertainment center, no climate control, no video system, no surveillance, no freezers, no fucking ice cream, no rubbers, no women, no guns. All we got here is *shit*! Oh, what the hell are we even talkin' to her for? She's the one that brought the fucker. Why don't we just get her head and shove it through the FUCKING WALL! "

I'm thinking Alien3 for this one.

Dog Soldiers was the movie Marshall made before The Descent. Hence one movie too early
