Rear Window. I've never seen The Bone Collector therefore Rear Window wins.

Two Solid Genre Flicks

Hello Everyone,Hope all is well. Just saw Dog Soldiers and 8 Legged Freaks. I was really satisfied with both films,of course ,for different reasons. Dog Soldiers=A+ 8 Legged Freaks= B+. Its funny,I met one of the producers of DogSoldiers at a screening of Bubba Ho-Tep,He was one cool guy. Well, thats pretty much it for now,I bet im one of the last people here to see these films!haha, All the best,ThisJustin

I watched Halloween Ressurection this weekend and Kingdom of the Spiders with that groovie beam me the hell up Scotty actor William Shatner. He is living in a town being over ran with tarantulas. Hey I found it at the video store for 2 bucks--cheap cheesy thrills.

Well,I rented Waxworks part 1 last night. Its funny,I guess some movies dont age as well as others.I still like some of the "fx's" but the editing or the directing really looked bad.You know what it may have beeen? I may have been watching a version that wa cut to shreds to edit out any gore. This was a Hollywood video rental. My review rating Waxwork= B- Best,ThisJustin

I rented Halloween: Resurrection.

Well it wasn't as dark as some of the other Halloweens, and it was pretty fast paced but seeing Busta Rhymes bust threw a door and end Michael Myers wrath for this movie, ruins any enjoyment. So it is in my humble opinion that we start S.A.R.A Schmoes Against Rappers Acting.

Well,I just bought Resident Evil on video and watched it last night,I saw it in the theatre and that movie is even better on the small screen. There's things that you miss from the theatre,Like the great music and how closely related it is to the video game with all the sound in it.

What I've been watching today...

Shocker

Written and directed by Wes Craven, this is an attempt to replicate the Nightmare on Elm Street formula; an executed murderer's ghost leaps from one person to another. It's pretty silly, but if you're in a goofy mood it's a diverting junk movie.

[Edit]

In the Mouth of Madness

I was looking fowards to watching this one because I've heard it's supposed to be good; in fact one of John Carpenter's better films. I ended up nearly being lulled to sleep by this boring movie. Granted, the ending was sort of interesting, but it's not enough to redeem the film. Sorry Carpenter fans.

Well I just bought Lucio Fulcis Zombie. And Wathced it.

I was entertained and grossed out at the same time.

Some things didnt make the best of sense and the dubbing was driving me nuts, but the gore was well worth the wait. Plus you gotta love that excellent cover...its just to irresistable.

Its a good film to watch if you wanna be totally grossed out,
Lets face it that eye scene was really something to remember...

I feel sorry for you,You actually sat through the whole thing,I've got respect for you for watching that piece of shit.

I just saw Signs on dvd last and I'm lucky I did'nt shit my pants in fear. That movie was some freaky ass shit and to top it off I watched it STONED!,Fuck.Everyone I've talked to said this movie would get your heart pounding but I just laughed because I'm a horror fan and not much can scare me anymore,I was wrong,I found out I can be freaked out and I fucking was.I can see the Night of the Living Dead influence that Mr Shayamalen was referrring to when they boarded up the house,Hid in the basement,And brought the T.V into the other room.I give this flick a perfect 10 out of 10 without even hesitating.

"Signs" would have been a great movie if not for the last ten or fifteen minutes. Okay, so let me get this straight:

Aliens, who are deathly allergic to water are invading the Earth, which is 75% water? These same beings navigate light-years across deep space, but need to communicate with each other once they get here via crop circles? And after creating these crop circles, they hang out around them to scare the locals, even though this is supposed to be a surprise attack? Oh, and I guess their flying saucers must come equipped with Starship Enterprise shush-style doors, because they've apparently forgotten how to turn doorknobs. And don't even get me started on the whole "signs from a higher power" inanity. Gimme "Hellraiser" any day.
