Anyway, I just had a double feature with both Waxwork movies and I enjoyed them both. I actually liked the second more than the first, although I know that's not popular opinion. Too bad they were both in full-screen.

Well, the Damien from the original Omen probably would have his Rottweiler eat Esther. After all, he's the freakin' son of Satan and got one hell of demon guard dog.

Zombieland - 7/10
Decent gore (a lot less CGI than I expected!), quick pace (except for one 10-15 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd act), Woody's character was badass and there were some generally funny parts (the rules were a nice touch) but the lead character just got on my nerves after awhile. It seemed like they wrote the part for Michael Cera but he turned them down so they got the guy who could act most like........Michael Cera. Other than that though, it was a fun take on the Zombie/infection sub-genre. Doesn't hold a candle to Shaun of the Dead though!

Wonder how long it'll take before this one becomes cool to hate.

It took me 9 minutes.

Vinyan - 4/10.

Too slow. Rufus Sewell deserves much better.

Quicker then you may think, I found it incredibly overrated...

I'm with you guys. Paranormal Activity was a waste of time. It's unfortunate that this is now considered "scary" cinema.

The backlash started last weekend on the "fan" page on Facebook, it's only a matter of time before hits here... If it hasn't already. Depressing. People complain all the fucking time about horror films not being scary and having no raw talent anymore, and a film like this hits that does EVERYTHING right and people still trash it. It's fucking ridiculous. I give up on people after this.

Very cool movie. Heard that there are 2 alternate endings to the movie. Should be good to see on DVD. Will also be horrifying to watch while laying in bed!

Ah, from what I've seen it seemed to have been getting largely positive feedback, didn't realise it had already started. Considering the budget and (from what I understand) lack of experience from all involved (aside from the lead actor being a cameraman) I was very impressed with what they did, a couple of bits here and there didn't work or were very forced but I can forgive that kind of thing with something like this.

Halloween II ('09) - 8/10
Aside from the shaky cam, liked it.

It obviously didn't do everything right though if people are so against it. It's called opinions. People have them. They sometimes don't agree others. Get used to it. Oh wait-

Much, much worse than I expected. I don't understand why they made so many darn sequels to this movie. Not even the original was worth a spin--not even for a huge King and Hamilton fan.

Read the short story to wash away the sin, it's much better.

Just out of curiousity, what ending did you see? Because there was one ending that has thus far been shown once, and that was
Spoiler:
when Katie slits her throat after presumably killing Micah.

Will do, Tagia. *walks out of the confession box*

I'll keep an eye out from now on for a copy of Nightmares & Dreamscapes so that way I can finally pick it up.
