I'll keep an eye out from now on for a copy of Nightmares & Dreamscapes so that way I can finally pick it up.
I actually read it in the anthology book 'Night Shift' along with some other great ones.

Ah, well then Night Shift! I knew it was one of the other collections outside of Everything's Eventual (the only King short story collection I've visited).

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (Renny Harlin, 1988)

Once again, this sequel was enjoyable in a way (some inventive - to say the least - kills) but I found it too annoying and hokey. Another thing, how many people fall asleep in class? It is not that common, and you'd think it wouldn't happen two days in a row, especially when your life depended on you staying awake.

4/10

I justed watched Paranormal Activity, all I can say is FUCK. If you believe in the Parnormal this film will fuck with you hard. I loved it so suspenful and genius. I'm sure there will be haters because it isn't enough Hollywood for them but I thought it was great.

The Horror Express starring Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars A New Hope) and Christopher Lee.

Quite cheesy but worth at least a watch.

I recently watched the original FOG again. It has good atmosphere and some creepy music to get into the Halloween mood. Plus, a great cast. The ghost pirates look cool too. 3/4 stars.

Dracula. The Bela Lugosi version. A very good begininng and end. It just drags a little in the middle. Lugosi is great as the Count. Dracula's castle is so cool looking. Its a shame they didnt film more scenes there. 2/4 stars

Martyrs

That was fucked up shit right there. 8/10

Eden Lake

The ending pissed me off to no end, otherwise, I really enjoyed it. 7/10, would have been an 8 if not for the ending.

Pretty good, but a bit slow. The look and feel of the movie was terrific. 7/10

A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge - 5/10
Not a solid followup to the creepy/atmosphere filled original. The homerotic undertones are more offputting than anything else in the flick, that dance scene while the lead unpacks his room - WOW! I'm not surprised Wes distanced himself from this. On the upside, Clu Gullager had a good performance (as usual).

Colin - 6/10
As far as low budget zombie movies go, this is one of the better examples that I've seen for a while.

Curse - 8/10
Japanese Blair Witch esque fake documentary about a guy researching a demon/ghost thing. Worth seeking out if you're into this kind of thing.

The Visitor - 4/10
Rather bizarre Italian sci-fi horror, omenish clone. Mostly boring with some strange imagery.

Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead

Wow. One of the worst movies I've ever seen. The acting was ATROCIOUS! The CGI gore effects literally had me laughing out loud. The plot was nonexistent. I didn't expect much from this direct-to-video sequel, but I didn't think it would be THIS awful.

It really is one of the best horror films of the decade and one of the best ever but damn the first time I watch it it was so damn nerve racking and intense I didnt know how I felt about it. I knew it was a great horror film but I didnt know if I enjoyed it or not.
