Shaun Of The Dead - 5/5

Finally saw it. What a thoroughly entertaining movie. I love the way it starts off quite light hearted then by the end things are deadly serious. Wonderful movie. Best British movie i've seen this side of 2000.

Also...a surprising amount of gore on offer.

The Blob - 4.5/5

Just got done watching this 80's remake of the classic Steve McQueen flick. I was a little bit hesitant because I remembered really liking it when I saw it way back at the tail end of the decade good taste forgot. The score speaks for itself. A very entertaining little monster flick. What I really liked was how unexpected some of the deaths were. If you've seen it you know who i'm talking about. A worthy purchase and a fine example of a remake that outdoes the original in almost every way.

Castle Freak - 5/10

Great special effects but CF lets itself down by some dumb dialogue and shoddy performances come the finale.

WOW, Much more enjoyable than the other two entries (which I worship). Great series, too bad it's over.

Pieces 5/10 - hilarious for all the wrong reasons

Gothika 6/10 - I didn't figure out whodunit! I was very disappointed with myself. Movie itself was kind of like, lots going on visually, but virtually nothing happening plotwise.

Psychocandy, I own The Blob remake on DVD and watch it all the time. One of my favourites.

I made my girlfriend watch it. She's had a phobia of clowns since she was little.
