The Abominable Snowman
The Comedy of Terrors
The Howling 5: The Rebirth

The Abominable Snowman, and The Comedy of Terrors were both pretty damn great. The Howling 5 was sorta entertaining (for a Howling sequel)

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer - 7/10

Michael Rooker gives a chilling performance as serial murderer Henry Lee Lucas in a film full of disturbingly graphic violence and torture. While most of the film delivers the goods I didn't care for the conclusion.

"Kolchak: The Night Stalker" - pilot.
Still good, but the Vampire is dull and the ending is surprisingly cold blooded.

"Kolchak: The Night Strangler" - The 2nd TV movie (extended version).
I actually like this more. More humour, more to the story, a better villian and better support characters. Some nice atmospheric sets as well for 'Old Seattle'.

Land of the Dead Director's Cut - 6/10 (rewatch)

The six additional minutes don't add in anyway to the story but do add some gory goodness to this splatterfest. Overall a mostly solid effort that IMO would've seriously benefitted from more character development. The production values are good but even with this version that clocks in at just over 97 minutes the film still seems rushed and its open ended conclusion is terribly anticlimactic.

Calvaire, a mix between a survival and Misery.
I was a little bit disapointed because most of the reviews were pretty good for this film and I expected something more cruel and gory.

However there was a creepy and weird atmosphere.
That's always postive to me.

Today's viewings:

Excellent 70's Brit horror with Cushing and Lee in the form of "The Creeping Flesh"

And on the Uk Horror Channel...

"Pumpkinhead" - Actually a bit better than I remember. Nothing great though.

"The Invisible Maniac" - Breasts, more breasts, arses, forced sub sandwich eating, death by jumping upon, even more breasts, shotgun splatter, crappy/fun acting, dead jocks, a few more breasts, more arses, bad jokes, flying bras, a fight between *two* invisible people and damn it...MORE breasts!
