I also enjoyed Mrs. Strode's death in Halloween 6 outside when Michael axes her in between the linen clothesline.

Ash, in Evil Dead. Great ending. Technically, in it's own mythology (if isolated from the sequels), since the story in the first one is that everything in the movie dies (even the bloody music, during the credits), i always look at it as Ash dies at the end. I mean, ED2's a comedy remake of it, nearly. I don't even connect them, personally. Gives ED A LOT more punch. ...And, yes, I am most definitely a fan.

...Or, am I the only one who looks at it that way?

I'd say the ice skating stalk and kill in Curtains. Someone with a hag mask chasing you with a weapon with the sun reflecting off the snow is scary.
The hitchhiker being run over by a cemi in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Ouch!
Also I'd say the Angela's kill's during the day in the Sleepaway Camp sequels. Specifically the Ally's outhouse death in part 2 and the flagpole in part 3.
