Of the ones you've listed I'd only seen Crouching Tiger...but while your thread was opening, the movie that came to mind was Seven Samurai.

Seven Samurai is a Japanese film.

Anyway, I've seen all the films on the list and it came down to In the Mood for Love and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. In the end Tiger barely edged out Love.
