Anyone read Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling? I've been interested in it, and I was wondering if it was good. I wasn't sure where to post this question. So I posted it here.

I'm reading The Wooden Sea by Jonathan Carroll. I loved Land of Laughs by him and hoping this will be as good.

And for a 15-hour road trip today, I got Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell and Catch-22 (19 hours!) by Joseph Heller to listen to.

The Stand

then in September I'm back to the real world after finishing my summer time with Stephen King. I want to read

Common Sense- Glen Beck
Superforce- Paul Davies

in addition to a slew of accounting books, history and economics books.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
JK Rowling

Good story, but I'm not especially fond of the rather bald, straightforward, style. I think the movie(s) will be great though.

Moby Dick

Only 150 pages in, and its already living up to its enormous reputation. I can only imagine what I'm in for once the titular whale actually shows up.

ENDER IN EXILE - Orson Scott Card

It actually pretty much sucks. First of the series I'm really not liking.

Ouch, that was a hell of a long Star Wars series. I think I'll take a nice long break from SW books, so for now I'm reading:

Breathers by S.G. Browne

Not read any of these before, 5 chapters in and so far it's a lot of fun.

Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins

About 80 pages left. It's a good read and as wild and out there as you'd expect from Robbins but also rather thought provoking. Wonderful author.
