Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
Fitting that a Phillip K. Dick Novel would be the source material for one of the greatest sci-fi's ever made.

The Cabinet of Curiosities by Douglas Prestion and Lincoln Child
Aloysius Pendergast may be my favorite modern fiction character. Preston and Child are definitely my favorite modern horror/mystery writers.

Just finished

Now starting.

I was, and still am, a huge fan of the TV series which sadly got cancelled. I can't even begin to describe how sad I am that it was cancelled.

I am really excited that the show got me to read the books though. So far the first one has been really fun. It's certainly no Lews/Tolkian/LeGuin but for modern fantasy it's certainly at the top.

A somewhat antiquated overview of Louis' life and policy, but still very well put together and researched. His emphasis on the peasantry, mainly his statistics, is really interesting. I highly recommend giving it a quick read through.
