The Lady in White...

Has anyone seen this masterful ghost story about a small boy who gets locked in a school closet and sees the ghost of a young girl who was murdered. He then proceeds to try and solve the mystery of who murdered the girl. It's a very good movie with a great central performance from a young Lucas Haas. It has some very creepy moments too.

scary, scary, scary movie. I own this puppy and I think it is one of the main reasons I began loving the horror genre. That scene in the cloak room is one of the most intense murder scenes ever. Why this director never hit it big I will never know. One of my top ten horror movies of all time.

It was pretty freaky. I liked the song that played throughout the movie, and the little boy was scary looking.

Nice little chiller. This movie tells a story. I dug that. LUKAS HAAS is great as the young lad.

For more horror featuring a very grown up HAAS, check out the British chiller LONG TIME DEAD.

But don't expect miracles. I love it, but alot of people don't, unfortunately.

I remember my aunt had a copy of it a long time ago. I used to watch it a lot when I was little. I tried looking for it on DVD and couldn't find it. It was on the Sci-Fi Channel a while ago, so I taped it off there. It was even better than I remembered. I'm still hoping for a nice DVD.

It did see a DVD release. It's deleted now and fetches a small fortune on Ebay. I fear that i'll never see this movie again. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

bumpity bump

id wanted to see Lady in White for many years and finally just got to seeing it.....and wow, it has joined the very very few films that have met my expectations and soared above them

this is one hell of a good movie, the visuals are amazing, the sets are great and atmosheric and the story had me fully engaged till the end (possibly because i knew nothing about the actual plot)

it was also good to see a film that had a number of kids, all who could act

10/10

I loved The Lady in White

Like everyone said there was actaully good acting no cheesy overacting and it had a great plot- alittle bit of horror and a lot of mystery
The director did such a great job with the time period and all of the outside events that were happening along with the main story
I think it is a definite classic and watching it on tv doesn't do justice because it is inevitably cut and can't stand the commercial interruptions

Loved Loved Loved this movie truly underrated. A great writing, great mystery, great movie.

What I was surprised about though is that this isnt just a horror film. Its a myster, a depiction about small town life, a slice of noglastia, a coming of age story and a horror film. A movie like this would never be made nowadays. I dont even think most audiences would give it a chance.

9/10

Checked this one out two winters ago.

Creepy, fun, down to earth... and a mildly disturbing ending, even though I saw the twist coming. Very good chase though.
