You know, moviefreak1980, you don't need to re-post the link everytime you update it. The original link you posted will take us to the new updated list just as well.

And you've got a nice collection, by the way.

I use both DVDAficonado and DVDProfiler. I find DVDPro to be more accurate, and has some titles DVDAf doesn't.

http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.ht...d=jpaterson000

I have a lot of good stuff, but I also have a lot of crap. I've got some full screen DVDs that I bought or ordered by accident.

Edit: I forgot that DVDPro is offline for the time being, as they're renovating, so I posted my DVDAf collection. Close to 500 titles.

Let me here some feedback, please
A few of your DVDs stand out to me. Like Waking Life, Firefly and 21 Grams. You've got some crap, too. But each of us owns some crap.

As a side note: You should know that your link doesn't work as a link. You posted the link as the text that represents it, rather than the address that the link transfers to. You probably already know this, but here's a rundown:

When it says Enter the text to be displayed for the link, it's just asking you for something that will represent the link in the post.

And when it says Enter the full URL for the link, that's when you enter the actual address.

You might want to repost with the correct link so that everyone can more easily enjoy your collection.

I'm quite proud of the collection, which I've put entirely too much time and money into. :-D

Check out my Willing To Trade list under Owned, people, and if you want to work a trade email me at casablanca5202@hotmail.com. I've got a wish list up there, but I'm willing to hear out any offers.

You've got a lot of DVD owner staples and your far share of duds, but nothing amazing stands out. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

And what are so many VERY girl friendly date movies doing in the same collection with the Die Hard movies, Fight Club and Wild Things. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say these are multiple household members movies collected together into one "collection". But that's just a guess

I love being right. If you removed most of the corny date movies, I'd give your collection a 7.5/10. But you need to spice it up a bit with more cool indie films like City of God, The Dancer Upstairs or Series 7. Or maybe some older animated flicks like Heavy Metal, Wizards or Fantastic Planet. The only cool, relatively obscure movie that you own that caught my eye was Thirteen. There are so many places you can go with your collection. Try branching out a little. Take a chance.

Not bad, my ranking for you is about a 7/10, i would give you a 6/10 but you have so many dvd's so i have to give you props for reaching the over 300 mark. One thing i did notice is your liking of basketball flicks, that's cool, but the one your missing could possibly b the best bball movie ever... HOOSIERS!!!!

1. Thanks

2. To get stars all you need to do is to go to "edit my titles" at "my dvds". Then select a movie and the option of rating the DVD and the movies will be there. You can also comment them as well).

3. Your collection also gets around 7/10. It's enormous and has some really good films, but it's stumbles for not having a single Criterion Collection dvd (you might wanna consider getting Armageddon since I heard you liked it. It's expensive compared to other dvds but the extras are more than worth it).

thanks for the info on the stars

I'd love to get any Criterion Collection DVDs if the ones I want didn't cost between $60-$90

Not bad (though you have many that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole). Your collection's got a lot of character.

Have you considered organizing your titles so that the sequels are in their proper places?

I've wondered for quite awhile how that's done...how is it? It seems I've looked everywhere for that option.
