I loved this book and liked the explanation of the creature. He actually did a lot of research and picked the explanation for the myth that had the most credible support.

Good point. My fear is that Marvel has lost its way recently. I'm a Marvel fan that no longer reads Spider-Man, Hulk or Fantastic Four because they've fallen that far. This event does nothing to change the status quo or help any of the solo books at all.
