In Firday the 13th,

In the original, Sean S. Cunningham was displeased with the first draft, the people died in this order:
Barry
Claudette
Annie
Jack
Marcie
Crazy Ralph
Ned
Brenda
Steve Christy
Mrs. Voorhees
Bill survived with Alice!

instead they die in this order:
Barry
Claudette
Annie
Ned
Jack Marcie
Steve
Brenda
Bill
Mrs. Voorhees
This is great!!!

They should have all died gruesome deaths! More kills the better. Wished he would have kept the orginal order of kills

I agree, the original was better, part 2 would have been way different though!

In the original draft I read, everyone still dies, but in slightly different order (and Jack`s death is off-screen).

The opening with Jason drowning is very different.

Bill definetly died, and Enos (he`s the truck driver in the beginning, right?) certainly didn`t die!

I guess the draft I read maybe wasn`t the first draft.

in the scipt I read, Mrs. Voorhees jumped in front of Enos's truck and he stopped it, he went out to look for the person he hit, and slit his throat

Jack died by butcher knife in his right eye
Marcie died by decapitation in the bathroom, you saw her head get hit off and knocked to the groaun, then you see a piece of Mrs. Voorhees' sweater when she picks up the head
Ralph gets an arrow jammed through his chest
Christy is strangled severly
Ned is killed on screen clearly with a dagger
Brenda is shot through her cabin window with arrow, the imact on her face as good
BILL SUVIIVES
these are much better than cunningham's version

ONE SURVIVORis always better than two or more
Bill should've been killed.
Paul would've still lived in Part 2
and weak Mark or whatever his name is in Part 3 would've lived with Chris in that case.

Nah i like Cunningham;s idea better

I would like to have seen Bill survive with Alice in Part 1, and Alice & Paul survive Part 2.

I'm sure the Paramount producers changed the script to include more carnage.

I wouldn't like it. It would be like the H20 of the F13 series. I think that would suck. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

The original is 10 times better than F13th 2, that's for sure.
I don't care about the characters a lot in F13th but they were more interesting than for the second chapter.

wheres teh ME TIMBERS?

and i wouldnt have liked that draft because CRAZY RALPH kicks butt and i wouldnt have liked a friday the 13th to drop part 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 because its too much like h20, and friday 4 wasnt good at all. (except corey feldman, he rocks)

I believe this was back in stevereno's first couple weeks on the boards. At that time his closing line was simply "shiver". He added the "me timbers" slightly later on. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
