Quoth, was this the event I stayed up watching all fucking night?

Those Scotch Women were the most entertaining, nail biting, gripping peice of shit I have seen for a long long time.

Tell me we are talking the same language?

I saw some monkeys playing curling today. Waste of time, I've seen plays that were more exciting than curling matches - honest to God! PLAYS!

Meh, Avril Lavigne likes it so it can't be all bad...

I prefer bowls, myself. Similar objective, but it's a much better game

I didn't say I played bowls, I'm not 80, you know.

I just prefer bowls to curling because at least with bowls you can sit in the "club" and drink lager (or shandy if you're english, BAH!) while watching it. No balls required on my part!

Hah, fair enough.

Baseball wrong - man with four balls can not walk.

Feel free to use that one....

No seriously guys.

The olympic ( i think) curling games was brill. I started watching as you do when nothing much else is on and well this scottish team was playing and christ allmighty (sorry lord) I was absolutely hooked. Im talking emotionally as well as excitedly. It was a great sport to watch and I was literally on the edge of my seat sweeping those bloody things along.

Those woman won an award on telly this year I think, and it was well deserved. I think it was best sporting moment or something allong the way and I for one was rooting for them.

I define anybody to watch that final and not be hooked.

Curlings an awesome sport to watch. I'd have to agree with you PrettyInPink, its one of the most intense sports to watch. You should check it out in person (if you havent already). The electricity in those palces is nuts.

Avril Lavigne likes it because she's from Canada and if you don't like curling here, they treat you like a goddamn traitor.

I don't like it myself, but I wouldn't mind curling with Ms. Avril Lavigne in a dark arena all by our ouselves with candles going and...

Hmmm, what about strip curling with Avril?

Um, I gotta go...

ok i will be 100% serious now. first off, that final was ace (watching his respect rating dipping through the floor). and although not a hugely interesting sport, its like cricket and golf in that its strangely compelling...

Come on at least give curling some credit. You cant play shuffleboard while screaming 'HURRY HURRY HARD HURRRRRRRY WOAAAA EASY'.

Well I suppose you could but the looks you'd get.
