The Sports you cannot stand

Well, if fishing is a sport (and with the amount of fishing shows on sports networks, you'd think it was), then it gets my vote.

"Wow, look I caught a bass!"

Otherwise, it's cricket. I see highlights sometimes on TV and it looks like they're trying to play baseball but can't really figure it out .

Does gymanstics count as a sport? I hate these little rabbits, the only good thing about it is when they fall off and hurt themselves. Same thing goes for figure skating.

Basketball - How can anyone consider this to be a sport? "Wow, you're tall, well done" Whoop-de-fucking-do. Have $8 million and a sponsorship deal with Nike. Bah.

Fishing is great, the guys on the fishing show have it all wrong, though. Catching fish is cool, but that's not really what it's all about, that's just a bonus. And if you catch a fish, don't throw it away for chrissakes, eat the damn thing.

Most "sports" involving horses tend to suck balls. Especially polo. The horses shouldn't take that shit. If I was a horse, and God willing one day I will be, I'd kick the shit out of any snobby twat who wanted to ride around on me and hit a stupid little ball through some sticks, or whatever the hell it is they do.

I'm sure I hate some other sports, but I can't think of them just now.

Surely you jest? As an ex-gymnast I can assure you gymnastics is a very difficult sport. And getting hurt is no fun...in ANY sport.

I have to agree with Indiana, fishing is just something that I can't watch. I know some people get a thrill out of fishing, but I could do it only if I was very, very drunk.

Also, I love to bowl, but watching it is rather boring for me.

And I'll give a thumbs-up to Greb's post...rodeo and bullfighting's thrill is lost on me.

if you want that sort of thing, watch chinese and japaese soccer. i used to, and they really take it seriously. i remeber this one goal keeper got a really painful looking flying kick to the stomach. they tend to kick off a lot more.

I can't think of a sport i really hate, because almost any sport is fun to play. But rugby would top my list, it's pointless shit. Lets get a big group of guys and make them run with a ball until they get hammered, then we'll do it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again for the rest of the game. At least in cricket there is some skill required (dont come out with sarcasm like "Yeah hitting a ball takes real skill" because you try facing some of the fast bowlers, it's bloody hard)

having played a bit of cricket, i do testify that going up against a fast bowler can be a very painful experience unless you get the ball going the other way. i caught a high speed ball in the...well....balls once and it hurt like fuck. and all because i was a fraction out swinging the bat. no i wont stand for any sarcasm either hehe.

hmmmm the wrestling issue interests me? surely olympic wrestling is far more credible that the wwe. atleast u know they are actually trying in the olympic wrestling. whereas the wwe is a faked soap opera in spandex smalls. hmmmmmmmmm....

I was watching the boat race on T.V on sunday just to be reminded that it is a sport totaly designed for the middle class /upper class teirs of society.I looks are never a correct manner in which to determain an indivduels character however some of the faces on quite a few of the rowers seemed as if the silver spoon had just been taken out of thier mouths....

I have absolutely no idea how to play Cricket. But I think it looks pretty cool, so I wont bash it.

Anyone who dislikes Football is a damn fool. (Im talkin Walter Payton and Brian Urlacher here, not Pele's version, though I think soccer is pretty cool as well)

Pitchers take too long to pitch, batters spend too much time outside the box, catchers head out to the mound way too much. It just isnt very exciting.

The sport I hate the most is basketball... such a drab excuse for a shoe commercial. Any sport that whores itself enough to play loud rap music WHILE THE GAME IS GOING ON is a self-admitted joke. Same goes for a sport in which about 108% percent of the players have criminal records longer than Manute Bol's left leg.

I think what you're trying to say is that baseball in itself doesn't suck, nut rather that Major League Baseball, run as it is by that human excrement Bud Selig sucks... correct? if so, then it's my opinion as well.

Wrestling! I used to be a bit of a fan, but over time I just got extremely bored of it. Sure some of the women in it kept me entertained but it was just the same stuff week in week out. I tolerated it for nearly three years, then just lost interest. The only deasant thing about the WWE and all that now are the video games.
