The Detroit Red Wings are actually a pretty good team.

I'm a huge Avs fan, and I still think they're better, but I realized yesterday that I only think the Wings suck in principle. They are actually a very good team. I mean, look at the list of players of theirs I like versus players of theirs I don't like:

LIKE:
Sergei Fedorov
Steve Yzerman
Brett Hull
Pavel Datsyuk
Henrik Zetterburg
Kris Draper
Kirk Maltby
Luc Robitaille

DON'T LIKE:
Brendan Shanahan
Chris Chelios
Igor Larionov
Darren McCarty
Tomas Holmstrom
Mathieu Schneider
Nicklas Lidstrom

As you can see, that's 8 i like versus 7 I don't like. And I would appreciate Brendan Shanahan more if he was still a Whaler. Now, I still think the Avs are a better team, but the Wings really are the second best team in the western conference. I really think I like the Dallas Stars LESS than The Detroit Red Wings. Maybe we can all live peacefully one day.........

Every post game interview, I see Hull, Chelios or Shanahan complaining about calls and other players.

Geez, the only class acts left in Detroit are Stevie Y and Cujo.

Although, I was hating life when Cujo left Toronto. But it's all good now.

What enemy? I appreciate people who play the game of hockey well. If you look, the 8 guys I mentioned all play well. Sure, they whine a lot, and you always hear them say " We didn't play well" as opposed to "They played great", but these are who I like as PLAYERS. As people, I'll take Steve Yzerman by himself.
