My favourite CFL team is BC LIONS. But thats because I am from bc and our country kicks ass. Is there anymore Canadians out there who actualy watch the CFL?

Peace,

I watch the highlights, I'm not a big enough fan to watch the actual games yet. My Alouettes smoked the Eskies at the Grey Cup this year!

I'll bet there isn't one American who watches the CFL much less knows what the hell it is?

Any takers?

CFL cracks me up. No offense to any of the canucks out there, but it isn't football. Then again, it's leaps and bounds better than the Arena Football League.

If it's not football, then tell me sir, what does the "F" stand for in CFL?

Canadian Foozeball League perhaps?

I'm from Manitoba, so my favorite team is the Blue Bombers. They're a very exciting team, I saw a Blue Bombers game at the Winnipeg Stadium three years ago.

Well, my sarcasm and humor was unfortunately missed. I mean it in as in that the rules and regulations differ so much that it's hard for an NFL fan to enjoy CFL football.

I know all about the CFL. I went to many CFL games and I live in the U.S. I know were your Alouettes came from. Answer: the only U.S. city to win the Grey Cup.

BTW, I heard Mike Pringle just got cut. That's a shame because I enjoyed his 2000 yard season here in Baltimore. He was a great running back that should have played in the NFL.

I know a little something about the CFL, I used to watch many games when I was a kid on ESPN, but they never broadcast them anymore. I'll search way back in the memory bank and give it a try.

- The field is 110 yards long as opposed to 100. I remember thinking it was funny to see the 55yd line.

- You get three downs, as opposed to four in the NFL, which makes the running game less important.

- Doug Flutie played up there.

- Had some cool looking uniforms.

- Championship game is called the Grey Cup.

- Games were played in the summer as opposed to the fall/winter of the NFL???? (not sure about this one)

That's all I can think of right now, I'll report back later if anything else comes to me.

The games are more in the summer/fall than just in the summer.

Also there are teams called the Rough Riders and Roughriders.
