Thora Birch....yay or nay?
 so honestly, what do you all think of her? i dont really dig her as an actress for some reason, i think it must be a personal thing. and she is not exactly attractive either...far from it... so its a nay from me. but its not over to the schmoes to see what they all think????

She may not be too attractive, but I find she has sex appeal. I'd take her to the barn (if I lived on a farm?).
She is however a pretty capable actress (I really liked GHOST WORLD, in particular) and so I'll give her a... Yay!

yay! But only because she looks... umm... nice... she isn't the cutest thing in this world, but she has her sort of charm. She's more than a so-so actress but not brilliant one as well.

YAY! Good actress, and very attractive (although perhaps not in the classical sense of the word...sure she's cute and all, but as Indy Sev put it, she's also got a lot of sex appeal). If she'd allow me, I'd date her, and then do her.

NAY on pic Quoth!! I would have found a better lookin one of Thora... Well it seems like yesterday when she played ummmm Anyway, fast foward to Now & Then.....Ahhhh just yesterday...... Then she did American Beauty and she showed her boobies (Oy Vey!) Looks well I have to lean NAY for at the moment but YAY on her movie roles.....

Talent= 9/10 Thora Birch is one of the best in the buisness. Hot and talented. All she needs to do now is get fully naked and win an oscar.

This is funny, I just watched Ghost World a bit ago. For looks, she's not the best thing in the forest, but she does have a certain charm that at least shows she can be someone you could bring home to mom. So a yay to that.
For talent, she gets a definite yay. She was brilliant in Ghost World, and really good in American Beauty

still a nay, she doesnt work for me as an actress. its just one of those things i think.
as for hotness, even the better photos arent doing it for me. sorry,. its true, i just dont find her attractive. *holds up his hands* what can i say? to each his own right?

Hmmm....neither yay or nay. Thora Birch is a credible actress, but she just seems to lack versatility. I'm no expert, and probably not in a position to criticise as I haven't seen all of her recent films, but Enid from Ghost World was a slightly different version of Jane Burnham. She's great at the moody teen, but I'd like to see her branch out more.
Looks-wise, she does has a certain alterna-beauty, and is an admirable role model for teenage girls- she's not stick thin and isn't symmetrically gorgeous as society (or Greb and quoth  ) may desire.I'm still not convinced to put yay, though. She seems to be a little stand-offish.

Gotta be a yay; the dedication and performance she put in to Ghost World really impressed me. Yay on looks too; nice to see an actress not resembling a prepubescent boy - makes a change

i think as an actress she is very capable....it remains to be seen of she can reach her potential but yay...she has got lovely baps

I can't believe you people! Are we looking at the same person? Thora is FUCKING hot and very beautiful, and indeed an excellent actress. She's one of my favourite actresses looks and performance weise! Those who replied negatively should be in Thora Therapy!

Very YAY in American Beauty and The Hole. (And a little weird in Ghost World, but still YAY.)
Some very YAY candids and ad pictures. Rarely a nay picture of her in my opinion, though that first one in here sure hit the nail on the head. Egad!
