Major Leauge Soccer how is it going?

The MLS has always seemed to have a LOT of pottential to and when I can catch it on Channel five in England I watch and enjoy.
Okay technicly it's not always great but since the world cup ended I haven't been able to watch any MLS.
Shame really because I wanted to see the impact of a sucsessful USA world cup campaign effected the top league.
Iwas over in the USA during the quater finals and yes the bars didn't have too much about it I did find that there was a under current of interest there.
So my Amercian friends what's the MLS like at the moment I am a big Landon Donavan fan and he is a bright spark for the national team and would like to see him play in the Premiership.
I also like D.C UNITED how are they doing.
