Does masterbationg affect athletic play?

If you masterbate the night before a game, will it affect your performance the next day?

No. It's actually now been shown that sexual activity on the night before ENHANCES performance. It doesn't detract from it, like was thought for years.

Beat away, my friend.

Just curious, how does it enhance it? Like scientifically is there a reason?

PS - THanks!

I think its because like what Woogy says in TSAM, it relieves tension. Your not going out there with a loaded gun. The barrel is clean, no bullets in the chamber. I've never polished the bishop before a game but now that its proven it helps I think I need to start flogging the donkey.

Releases endorphines into the system, I think.

Are you sure it's been proven? At the last World Cup, almost all the countries discouraged sexual activity. Argentina allowed their players to have sex during the tournament, and they didn't perform as well as they probably expected.

Endorphins being released would cause you to be more relaxed and less aggresive/competitive, wouldn't they?

Not that I'd know since I don't..... play sports

I can't say exactly proven. But I did read an in-depth article debunking the myth that sexual activity decreases performance. I believe it was a British study.

Well, that explains why I'm a kick-ass basketball player.

I don't know about men, but as a woman I wouldn't do it before a competition. Sex relaxes me too much, I'd lose my edge. I need my edge for sports. But that's just how it affects me.

Carry on with your conversation, gentlemen.
