MICHEAL VICK: possibly the greatest to be?

Now i dont know if you agree but most sports analyists do, Micheal Vick is the supreme human highlight reel, hes half man, half amazing, and hes got the arm of john elway and the legs of barry sanders. if you think he was great last season, your gunna be star struck the upcoming. A lot of people try to criticize his pocket passing but what many people dont realize is that he was the youngest quarterback in the league, who should have been a senior in college and had not one half way decent receiver in his arsenal and still lead them to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Two words- Peerless Price. Its not all his receivers fault, cuz afterall his passes are faster than a speeding bullet. He's taking a team that was once a joke, to being the hottest in the NFL and look at all the jerseys you see around, this kids got skill. Just add water and you have an instant play maker. You'll see Hall of Fame numbers will be put up and will be possibly the greatest QB. He is the new breed of QB's. GET READY CUZ ITS THE YEAR OF THE VICK

He is the real deal, but...

He needs to learn to stay in the pocket. He's got a decent O line. If he keeps up all the scrambling, he'll be broken in half.

Fun as hell to watch, though.

In my opinion, the most fun player to watch in NFL history, although Walter Payton and Barry Sanders are in the same bracket. But, as Greb said he needs to learn patience and stay in the pocket more or he'll ruin his career by having injuries. The sky is the limit for Vick's greatness.

Micheal Vick? Who's that?

I'm excited for the younger and faster Marcus Vick who broke all of his brothers high school QB records in just two years at the position. They say he has a better arm strength! and more discipline than his older bro.

In 4 years, the NFL is gonna resemble female tennis, only instead of the Williams sisters, you're gonna have the Vick brothers.

You didn't see the playoff game where he was damn near killed going for the goal line?

He can be caught. And when he is, you don't think the LB's and Safety's want a piece of that ass?

I'll bet there's a bounty on him.

The greatest of all time label might be a little much at this point. He's only played one full season. He certainly is the most exciting player in the NFL in quite some time, no doubt about that. He cetainly doesn't like to take hits, his comments that the Bears were taking cheap shot's at him was ridiculous. That comes with the territory Micheal. I personally hope he does stay healthy and I'm not a Falcons fan.

Watch out if Urlacher get's him in his cross hairs.

but marcus got redshirted at v tech and of course he has to live in the shadow of his older brother... so we'll see.

peerless price is good, but of course he had eric moulds on the other side taking the double teams... but then again he can't be worse than the sorry receivers in atlanta last year, lol. i expect his passing numbers to be up

as far as the bears go, i thought vick said they were aiming at his knees (poor tackling technique, great way to get someone out of the game) and the bears coaches were telling the defense to go at his knees... but of course i wasn't on the field

I think he found that out first hand. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that Urlacher already has piled up 4 sacks against Vick in just two games!

If anyone can catch Vick, its Brian Urlacher.

Funny to look back isn't it?

Hey the Williams sisters just played in a Wimbleton final, where are the Vick brothers?

"Hall of fame numbers and the greatest qb ever..." traded in for a prison cell... sad.

Is Marcus Vick even still kicking around the league somewhere?

I'm bored can you tell? Keep digging up these old threads, but it's fun to look back.

Nope, getting anally-invaded in lokcup.

Vick Senior was possibly the biggest joke of a QB in the league's long history. Dude couldn't even spell "progression" let alone use it. He ran on every third play because Mora gave him TWO--yes, 2--options. What type of incompetement mongoloid can't check TWO options? Who the fuck RUNS after not checking through TWO receivers?

Sorry...

Yeah, had to do a double-take on the thread title. The date of the original post made a lot more sense.

I still hope Michael Vick will have a career in the NFl; of course, Goodell will have to let him back in, but I still think Vick can play. I hear/read he works out/runs while in "the joint" (I read when there's a football game played, he plays QB for both teams ). BUT, Sportscenter ran a story about him filing for bankruptcy protection the other day.

Marcus, on the other hand, can't seem to keep his dumb ass out of trouble. I read that he was arrested for a DUI last month. I've always been a fan of Michael Vick (I'm a VT grad - saw him play on the field), but Marcus has always managed to piss me off.
