Jason Mraz - We Sing We Dance We Steal Things

I enjoy the lightheartedness of the album. He doesn't really take himself seriously and just has fun with some beach going material. It's been a good album for me to put on when I want to relax.

Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God (CD/DVD)
Lumberjacks and pirates would agree that this is the manliest album cover ever.

Amon Amarth - Wrath of the Norsemen DVD
Best money to features ratio on a music DVD ever.

Within Temptation - Mother Earth 10/10

The album that got me into metal all those years ago. Not this exact one mind you, this is the reissue, which actually is the same with 4 live tracks added at the end and a new cover.

Is that Oasis cover supposed to be so ugly? Like, "dig out your soul" from the clutter of the modern world?

Anyways...preordered..

Pavement - Brighten the Corners
Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping (already heard and it's fantastic!)
Deerhunter - Microcastle

Dammit, I hate it when the CD has a sleeve that makes it slip out of either side. Good album, though.

Keane - Perfect Symmetry

I wasn't going to buy this, but it was on sale on amazon mp3 for $2.99 on the day of its release, so I figured why not.

I've been listening to this guy via various internet sources for a little while now. Just about half an hour ago, though, I put on "River Man", and then I listened to it again. By the second time, I was overcome by an uncontrollable desire to go out and buy these three albums (momentarily/irresponsibly disregarding my somewhat tight money situation). I'm glad I did. Amazing stuff.
