Picked up My Big Fat Greek Wedding
and Happy Gilmore.

I didnt want to get wedding, but Walmart tricked me. It said 13.95. I was like sweet. Then I checked on the scanner and it said 14.95. I was like man, then it was like woah, then I was like ahh, and he was like dude, then i was like ooohhh. It was the VHS that was 13.95. It was sold out, DVDs were on the verge of selling out. Plus that line up there was from Find Nemo.

I gave these as gifts: Tommy Boy, Dumb and Dumber, Outbreak, The Patriot (Steven Segal), Dirty Dancing CE Sweet Home Alabama, and a double pack of Mr. Deeds and Big Daddy.

The lastest ones i received were The Deer Hunter, and UHF. "Weird" Al is hilarious.

Can anyone tell me if Deer Hunter is anygood? I am debated on returning it. Is it more of a blood and guts and killing war movie, or more of a character study?

The Deer Hunter

feel about The Deer Hunter

it more of a character study film

it kind of slow at time but for the most part i like it
I give it 8/10

Kes (Region 2)

The Commitments (Region 2)

Videodrome (Region 1,3,4 according to the back )

The Sopranos series 1 boxset (Region 2)

Casualties of War (Region 3)

Married with Children: The most outrageous episodes (Region 1)

Ichi The Killer (uncut version) (Region 2)

The Rules of Attraction (Region 1)

The King of Comedy (Region 1) <---I'd never seen this before, and dam it's excellent

However, I'll be hitting DVD geek orgasm in about an hour, because I'm picking up the Criterion discs for Brazil and 400 blows. (Pretty cheap as well, imo 110 for both of 'em, and neither of them has been opened before).

This weekend, my parents came down for my birthday and I got the Reservoir Dogs: SE and the Fly 1 & 2 double feature DVD's. I would have gotten something else, but this year they seemed stingier with their money than last. Well, at least I got a new watch too.

Picked up The Paradine Case fairly cheaply. Decent film, although it's not one Hitchcock's best. Not a bad picture either, considering it's a budget disc.

had intended to use a poster for the movie, but couldn't find any decent ones

True Romance DC - Special Edition ...cool extras! was a little bit disappointed by Tarantino's audio commentary though. Tony Scott's is better. However, great DVD!
