In MY opinion, Albert Brooks ranks up there with Woody Allen, Larry David and Letterman (and maybe Jon Stewart), as one of the very few comic geniuses still kicking around.

Why buy that when the superior 40th Anniversary Edition exists?

It was enjoyable for me. Typical Emmerich movie. I would have bought it regardless, but I got the extra bonus of the steelbook.

Are there any special features on the In Bruges disc? It's an instant buy for me regardless (just like any Woody Allen or Coen Bros. disc which usually don't have extra stuff) but I'm curious if it's barebones or not.

Would love a cast commentary for that one...midgets and all!

I agree to an extent, but it seems the important thing is the steelbook rather than the movie. It was prioritizing a mediocre, if not bad film with a steelbook case, over one of the better films of the year (In Bruges), with a regular case.

I just shudder to think how many people would buy a Day of the Dead 2: Contagium Steelbook if it were promised to be a limited release.

I agree there...I don't really care what case it's in. If the steel case is what made you pick up the movie then it really wasn't something you wanted. The steel should just be a bonus. You got to ask, would I have bought that if it wasn't steelbook?

I agree....I bought 10,000 today but will also buy In Bruges at the end of the week. Every steelbook I own is a movie I would have bought regardless (I actually upgraded a few of my movies). I would never buy Day of the Dead 2 in any format unless it was purely to resell in which case I would never open it.
