I double dipped for Casino Royale because it's cheap. I highly doubt Wall-E can look much better on Blu Ray than it does on DVD. Ratatoulle looks OUTSTANDING on DVD with my TV and Blu Ray player.

Ahem - uhhhh...

Here's the thing:

Pixar makes the BEST looking blu-rays. EVER. There's no way in HELL that Wall-E looks as good on DVD as it does on blu-ray.
Unless you're using a non-HD TV, you're missing out big time.

I would recommend anyone who likes Pixar movies and has hi-def to pitch in for Pixar blu rays... it's worth the double dip even if NOTHING ELSE IS WORTH IT. And there are other movies that are worth it.
That's how awesome Pixar's blu-ray discs are.

As I said in another thread I got the 32 inch HDTV, but looking at how amazing Ratatouille is on DVD, I can't believe the Blu Ray movies could THAT much better. I was surprised how good my Rat DVD looked in the Blu Ray player.

Ugh, trust us. Blu Ray is better than DVD for any movie.

While I plan on buying Blu Ray's from here on out (price considerations) there is NO WAY I'd start double dipping often. I got about 500 DVD's. I might double dip if it seems it's really needed, but the Pixer films look fine to me on DVD. My dVD copy of The Untouchables looks BRUTAL on the Blu Ray player.
