Criterion sale!

I put this in the Criterion thread as well:

I saw this on Cheap Ass Gamer. DVDPlanet is having a big sale on their Criterion stuff. Combine that with one of these coupons and you can get some sweet deals:

MARCH2007 $5 OFF $50
PREMAR2007 $10 OFF $125
SPRINGCHICKEN $7 OFF $80

Here's what I picked up:
Seven Samurai $29.97
Yojimbo/Sanjuro $41.97
Spirit of the Beehive $23.97
Ikiru $23.97
King Kung Fu (stupid movie for fun, not Criterion but cheaper than Amazon still) $9.95

With the $10 PREMAR2007 coupon and free shipping I paid $128 bucks total. A lot cheaper than Amazon on all titles!

You guys should hop on this sale.

The man's access to Cate Blanchett's German accent may have been at risk. Entirely necessary and I'm sure you would agree!

You coming out against "The Good German" like that was like a private trying to convince the man with the money to not go to war instead of, you know, a general like myself. *extended cough*

Pan's Labyrinth:

Is there any way I could purchase the key separate from the movie? Studio's are always like that aren't that? Packaging the desired goods with extraneous, throw-away-immediately-upon-arrival material.

Eh, Cate Blanchett does have a neat German accent, but I doubt it's worth watching the film over.

And the man with the money may sometimes be more influential than the general (READ: the White House).

Nah, I just find it irresistible and was Homer drooling after every word uttered. Her nasty past will not deter me. I can live life without morals.

I did mention that it was a sexy accent, didn't I?

Still not worth it.
Proof of Cate's prettiness not being worth watching a film over:
Little Fish.

I got Octopussy of ebay, for $12 and a View to Kill off Amazon for 12.99

that almost finishes my bonds, I only need On her Majesty's Secret Service and I am finally complete. I bought the 2000 releases because my other 16 bonds are from that release and it seems silly to get the new ones and have them out of place.

I was waiting for the rereleases as it drops the price significantly, both those films were tracking in the $25-30 range before the new ones came out

I just got that from the same sale an hour ago. I'll get a couple of others on Friday when my paycheck comes. Fargo might be one of them since the rest of them I haven't seen (I don't blind buy) and I've already seen (and own) Rain Man.
