Had to finish my obligation to Columbia House so I pre-ordered this today...

Then I saw if you buy one DVD at regular price you get 50% off as many more as you want so I had to get...

3 DVD's for $38; I can't complain.

Goddamn, I hope my CriterionDVD shipment with Red Shoes and a boatload of other titles arrives soon.

(it's the unrated version, althought the one I ordered didn't have a cover to show on Amazon since the other one with the cover shown wasn't in stock. I hope this dosen't blow up in my face.)

You, you just had to bold it didn't ya?

Good to see you're giving The Seventh Seal a second chance, and with Walkabout you surely have to have the first ten by now.

Nice call on La Notte as well, I'm going to be going for that and L'Eclisse in the near future to finish up his alienation trilogy (since L'Avventura was so awesome).

Actually I'm missing #2 (yup, Seven Samurai) but I've put off buying it for good reason.

How, oh how, can you manage that intake? It's crazy. I thought I was something special, the kid on the block with the Fanny and Alexander Box-Set...you were forced to use three posts for your entire haul! You deserve some sort of award.

Did you buy the Samurai Trilogy Box-Set and each one separately?

Thanks. I subsribed to a really awesome and ultra cheap Canadian site that was having a massive discount (I probably saved a quite alot of money then by ordering from Amazon. In fact, their prices for Criterions matched those of CriterionDVD.com at that time). I used CriterionDVD for a few Criterions I couldn't find. I got some other DVDs from Amazon since I got coupons, some DVDs I couldn't find anywhere else along with a really cheap Diary Of A Chambermaid DVD. I got the other 3 boxes together for cheap shipping from Paul Champagne's website. I even re-bought some OOP Criterions that Amazon claimed they had (I hadn't actually paid for them yet) that kept getting delayed over and over again and some got canceled (they're were sealed from eBay and the U.S. Amazon).

I bought them seperately but if they don't have the "original" criterion logo of DVD released during that area and instead have the ones on the photos I used I'm gonna be a very unhappy man.
