EAGLE IN THE SNOW by Wallace Breem
and AMERICAN GODS by Neil Gaiman I got both of those for Christmas. I'm on EAGLE, and it's not too bad so far. Very detailed as far as military strategy goes. I get the feeling reading this that the film GLADIATOR got many of it's cues from this book. |

Movie books excluded (I buy a lot of screenwriting and filmmaking stuff), then it'd be a trio ordered off Amazon:
THE SIXTEENTH ROUND, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter THE MERRY ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD, Howard Pyle And Stephen Knight's ROBIN HOOD anthology |

NEVERWHERE by Neil Gaiman.
If there's anyone out there that hasn't read this or AMERICAN GODS by Gaiman, you are really missing out. Gaiman is a modern day fantasy genius. |

30 days of night.... Looking forward to some fun in the alaskian sun.... Which I'm obviously not going to get because the story is about a time when the sun doesn't come up in Alaska, but I digress.

I'm taking two English courses in university, so I had to buy a few books for them. The ones I had to buy that aren't just textbooks are:
Microserfs by Douglas Coupland Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad Blankets by Craig Thompson The Martyrology 1&2 by B.P. Nichol Angels In America by Tony Kushner Drawing Down the Moon: Witches, Druids, Goddess-Worshippers, and Other Pagans in America Today by Margot Adler And for my own enjoyment: Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis (and I got it at a reading so it's autographed ) |
