Favorite final sentence?

*May Contain Spoilers*

-My favorite final sentence in a book is in Stephen King's It.
"Or so Bill Denbrough sometimes thinks on those early mornings after dreaming, when he almost remembers his childhood, and the friends with whom he shared it."

It just sums up the books theme of friendship and love so perfectly. The best way to cap off the bitersweet finale.

-Second place, Stephen King and Peter Straub's Black House.
"Welcome back," she says. "My heart, my life, and my love: Welcome back."

The book itself wasn't that great, but the ending was fantastic, and that final line was amazing.

-Third place, Stephen King and Peter Straub's The Talisman.
"In a billowing white bedroom filled with anxious women, Laura DeLoessian, Queen of The Territories, opened her eyes."

My favorite book, yes, and though I generally don't generally love happy endings (though there was that big loss halfway through the book) but this one I loved.

-And the fourth, Dean Koontz's Watchers.
"Oh yes, fur face," Nora said, kneeling and hugging him. "As long as there are dogs and as long as there are people fit to walk with them, they will all remember you."

It was a GREAT relief to read that. Anyone who's read the book knows why.

What are yours?

Damnit KCMasterpiece you took mine, Lol. One of the boldest last sentences ever.

This is my other favorite one.

"In the world according to Garp, we are all terminal cases." Great sentence that sums up the entire book.
The World According To Garp

This is a good topic lets hear some others.
