Burnout Paradise - Spent all of Saturday, in a rather hungover state, hooked to the game. Laziest day ever.

However I am still addicted to Guitar Hero III, and have worked quite some way through Resistance too.

Lot of free time lately

My God Halo 3 sucks so bad. I only bought it because it was on sale for $35 at Best Buy and I had a $25 gift card. But honestly it doesnt even feel like it was worth the $10. It feels like such a rehash of Halo 2 its not even funny.

How hard was Ratchet compared to something like Heavenly Sword.

Did it have a good story or just great game play?

Much easier, though the difficulty is a bit unstable, it can jump to hard pretty quick, but never really too hard.

And it has good everything and completely devours "Heavenly Sword" on all aspects. I particularly loved the story (though it ends on a cliffhanger), but it's my favorite game of last year (beating out even "Portal") and one of my favorite games of all time. Play it so you can finally see what the PS3 you bought is really about. That shit is next gen.

Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction

Anyone who has played the first Ratchet knows Destruction doesn't have its same gameplay, so I don't know what the reviewers are talking about on that one. It's no more similar to the first ps2 Ratchet than, what... any Final Fantasy is to another. These are tried and true systems that only gets minor upgrades, just because there is really no other way to upgrade the details into any closer perfection. I'm only getting to play Destruction here and there, but it's still awesome, it's still accessible. I replayed the first Ratchet dozens of times over the course of its release year, and I'd do the same for Destruction if I had the chance. Insomniac just needs to stop releasing a Ratchet game every four months so gamers can actually start wanting it again, or else this flagship mascot will never get the attention he deserves.

Turok 360

Eh, not too bad. Stabbing the shit out of dinos and people is fun, and so is the bow. But sweet mother is the aiming bad with the guns. Feels like I'm lagging just playing the mission.

Had 15 guys over for some Smash Bros. last night for my birthday, and holy fuck it was fun. 4 tvs, 4 games, 16 players at once, and I set up a tier system where winning on one tv would advance you to the next or losing would bring you down. Immensely fun, suggested to anyone who can get their hands on 16 gamecube controllers. And we're probably going to do the same thing when Brawl comes out.

Played about 2 hours of Black and White for PC today. Pretty fun so far. I also played a little bit of Super Star Wars for SNES last night and I'll play some more tonight.

Beat Halo 3 in less than a week playing about 45 minutes a day. Just more of the same and not even better looking than Halo 2. How did this score 9's across the board from every game critic in the industry?

Just somehow managed to finish ratchet. It'd say it's pretty much incredibly amazing. I don't play many videogames anymore, but I can't imagine another one I enjoyed as much as this. Best game ever.

Don't blame me, I wasn't active on these forums 2 years ago. Had I been, I gladly would've been on the front lines lending support, as this game fucking owns.

Been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. again, and finally made it to the inner lab areas. Downloading The Witcher demo at the moment, though -- may give it a whirl before the night is up.

Asssassins Creed (360)

Repetitive, but c'mon, scaling buildings and jumping from banister to banister is fun times!

Working on both of these...haven't played Lost Planet in a while and actually forgot about Assassins Creed because of the repetitive factor. Been playing a lot of Halo 3 online with my roommates.

Wow. Everyone is so advanced with their Wii and 360! I'm still rocking my PS2, and I love it!

I've started to play Silent Hill 4 once again. I absolutely love the Silent Hill series, and this damn 4th installment is tough. I gave up on it before, but I'm determined to beat it.

Yep. My 360 is down. Won't get it back for a couple of weeks. I'm so sad. I miss it already.

ANYWAY, last night I had friends over for my birthday party and we played some COD4 and Halo 3 but the highlight of the night was Rock Band (not on my 360 of course). We busted that thing out and played it for hours upon hours. I play the drums, which are hella fun. And by the end of the night I was playing on Expert so I was pleased. I NEED to get this game. It's just so much fucking fun with friends. And drums are fun with or without friends so I'm definitely needing to get the 170 bucks.

Warcraft 3: Defense of the Ancients

A new update after 6 long months proves yet again that this game never gets old.

I don't think I was here two years ago, but I've certainly backed you up when you've mentioned that game. It may not be my favorite in the series (that honor goes to FFVI), but it's certainly a fucking fantastic game, and all those people that wanted a FFVII-2 instead of FFVIII can suck it. Anyway, I'm playing DMC4 right now. I'm up to mission 15, and I'm fucking loving this game. It's hard getting used to Dante after switching from Nero (I'd almost go as far to say that the Devil Bringer is a fucking crutch, but I LOVE the shit out of it), but I'm getting the hang of him. I actually need to go back and finish 1 and 3 one of these days (nearly beat both, but not all the way through).
