was never into WoW. I solemnly swear. I never understood the fascination.

Anyway... is FarCry 2 worth picking up for $13? I haven't actually played any of the games yet, so I'm not sure whether to dish out the cash or not. It does have decent reviews on Gamespot, but it's not exactly worshipped either.

May sound stupid but I liked that. I played for a few months, got a 65 and a 35 before I quit. The wife had a 40ish. I would play on the laptop and she would play on the desktop. It was fun and getting to be even more fun as we got up in levels but $30 a month had to go when my business started slowing down and we were spending too much time doing it. Then I started one of the harder semesters of school so it had to go so I would have time to study. I take my last final on Thursday and I am done so that is why I thought we would pick it back up but we decided to go the healthier route, plus our kids can play it too. They are too young for WoW and we do not have a third computer anyway for them to play on.

I do know what you meant though, When I quit it was odd, just sitting around in the evenings after the kids went to bed with NOTHING to do. So we filled the time in other, more useful ways.

It is fun, my right shoulder is sore from golf but besides that a good time.

Suggest any good Wii games for 2+ players? Something for me and the wife to try out that is not filled with round little people with no arms and legs maybe?

driving around gets tired q-vick! the game looks pretty but it's essentially the same missions over and over. i almost gave up due to the annoyance but i had nothing else to do so i completed. cool in parts, depends if your richie rich on the buy but i wouldn't give it more than a 7

Playing Need For Speed : Undercover for the Wii right now. It is ok, maybe a 6/10. Controls are horrible at times and good at others. The graphics and soundtrack are probably a little better than I expected. The multiplayer sucks on my TV. I have a 32" crt television and the splitscreen is awful. It might look better on a bigger tv?

Anyway, I would not go out of my way to recommend this but it is worth a quick rental.

Also, I played this on PC and the PC version is superior (if you have a good computer!).

Just rented Mario Cart for the Wii. This is the biggest pile of shit game I have ever played. You could literally do just as good if you drove blindfolded. So much random bullshit flying around at all time that always seems to mess me up longer than the AI players. Big fucking pile of steaming horseshit. 0/10

Borrowed Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. It's alright. Nothing special. Just waiting for Wolfenstein and Batman to come out.

Finally borrowed Red Faction: Guerrilla from a friend now that I have time to do such things and I've almost beat it. However, I find myself just roaming around and blowing stuff up all the time-- it's too much damn fun. I hate that I still don't have XBOX Live, I've heard this is a blast to play with others.

Trials HD is a blast. Worth the $15... pretty much. $10 would be a much better price, but this is Micro$oft here.

Resident Evil 4 : Wii Edition

Really fun. Controls work good and the video looks great. Really good atmosphere if you play it in the dark too! I give it a 7/10 so far. I just got to the castle so I do not know how much longer I have to play it but enjoying it so far. I would recommend this.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (360)

Getting back on the saddle to prep myself for MW2. Playing the multiplayer with friends on Hardcore Search and Destroy/Headquarters...I missed this game so much, and I really can't wait for the sequel. I'm skipping work for that game

Super Mario 64
Still like the free roaming nature and I don't think any Mario game since has surpassed this.

Bushido Blade
Holy crap, this game rules.

Rerented RE:4 Wii Edition today. I had it for three days with it due back today but I am maybe halfway through(?) and it is getting even better as I keep going. I am at the Salazaar boss fight and man this game has kept me entertained for a total of 14 hours in just 3 days. Great game! I know I posted I was playing it earlier but since I rerented it and it is getting better I had to post again. New score of 9/10!

I fucking love the trial, but I'm poor as shit, and I really really want to get Shadow Complex on Wednesday. Anyway, I've been bored with all my games lately because I just want to play Batman, god dammit.

Totally agree. I've been addicted to it since Day 1. I just finished the main quests but still have a few side ones remaining and I still have to buy the DLC packs.

I want to echo the sentiments for Fallout 3. I absolutely love that game, probably my favorite of the current generation. I recently got the Platinum trophy for it on my PS3 so I've done about all I can with it until they release the DLC on PSN. As of right now I'm playing Valkyria Chronicles and it's very enjoyable and quite challenging.

There was a sequel on the original Playstation, it was called Bushido Blade 2, heh. I guess you overlooked it, but it was a great game just like the original. It had a lot more characters than the original. I think the original had about 6-8 characters but Bushido Blade 2 had at least 20, both very fun games. They were unlike any other fighting game of that era.

I totally missed out on the dog. I'm assuming you only get it if you're a goodie-two-shoes, and I am soooooo not.

I couldn't even get that guy Jericho in my party because I blew him and all those other douchebags to kingdom come. I have a sickness.

I played Fallout 3 for about 3hrs, then packed it away in my "don't like" closet. Yea, it's a great game, just not for me.

Playing Shadow Complex... awesome! I'm sitting at 90something% items and high 90s map. All I have story wise is to do the last boss battle, but that locks off some of the items, so I'm cruising around, trying to find everything. Good times.

kinda take back what i said about wolfenstein. the level in the farm house is impressive

from now on i only play video games stoned

teh game suffers from the same things as far cry 2 did. trying to do too much. the hud and map is annoying! the gta elements are just long and unnecessary

Played a couple of the side missions in Dynasty Warriors: Empires but was totally bored and then Co-oped Resistance 2.

I'm hoping to finish Up on the PS3 tomorrow before proceeding to Star Wars The Force Unleashed and completing Superhuman on Resistance 2.

LOL I think that's the case. I became a saint for my run through. Still fun as hell though. Strangely, I never bothered to get Dogmeat for my run.

PS Deathclaws are a bitch. And the Fat Man is fun to play with. I just need to hunt down the Experimental MIRV which launches the 8 in 1 shot. Sounds even more fun.
