If You Could Invite 10 Celebrity Guests To Dinner?
If you could invite 10 celebrity guests (past & present) to a dinner party - who would you invite and why?
My List; (I'll start with a few fellow aussie's) NICOLE KIDMAN - Couldn't have a party without this party gal... and with any luck she might also spill some dirt on Tommy. RUSSELL CROWE - Same as Nic... the guy know's how to party! ERROL FLYNN - I hear he was a wild one way back when & would give Russ a run for his money... and the party boy needs a drinking partner. JACK LEMMON - Do you really need a reason? KATHARINE HEPBURN - My all time favorite actress... I would love to hear about her time in hollywood. SPENCER TRACY - For Katharine of course! JULIA ROBERTS - So I can poison her meal and put us all out of our misery! JENNIFER CONNERLY - Looks like she needs a good feed. MEL GIBSON - I would serve him for desert. BRAD PITT - The perfect after dinner mint!!! ~Jaylee |

1. Matt Groening (the "Simpsons" and "Futurama" creator has to be a hoot in person)
2. Amber Benson (she's my "Buffy" honey of the moment- sexy and talented; I just wish one of her recent indie efforts would be released somehow) 3. Jennifer Aniston (she's been my fave "Friend" since the start, and I can't be alone in thinking her film work- "Office Space" and "Object of My Affection"- is underrated; Brad's a very lucky man) 4. Kevin Smith (his commentaries alone make him sound like a riot to be around) 5. Hans Zimmer (just to pick in brain on composing and film scoring) 6. Joss Whedon (like Smith and Groening, the "Buffy" creator surely is a quick wit) 7. Steven Soderbergh (just because...) 8. Mel Gibson (again, just because...) 9. Eliza Dushku (another "Buffy" babe that I'd love hanging with) 10. Jon Stewart (Think about it, him, Groening, and Smith in the same room? It'd be heaven for sarcasm lovers.) |

Damn this is tough just thinking about this...but here goes(great topic obviously)
Sean Connery(basically my favorite actor and so I can lay my impression of him and see what he thinks) Stanley Kubrick(True inspiration and I'd ask him why he made so few movies over a long period of time) Susan Sarandon(and she can bring her cool hubby Tim Robbins too) Kate Winslet(sexy English babe who I just dig) Steven Tyler(Lead singer of Aerosmith...gotta have a band to entertain) Gwen Stefani(Lead singer of No Doubt, likewise w/Aerosmith but I'd want to get her alone at some point during the evening) Catherine Zeta Jones(again bring Michael Douglas...but if willing to cheat on husband I would be game) Tiger Woods(a major star and I need help with my golf swing!) I think that makes 10 if you include the two couples...but if I had two more choices one would definately be Jules Asner...the sexy lady on E! and she can cover the event! Last choice just came to me!!! Bill Murray!! great for entertaiment...for the night and then the following day I could play golf with him, Tiger and Sean Connery...basically my dream 4-some....and that my friends would be a party! |

Ginger Rogers (they can show us some of their elegant moves) 6. Sydney Portier (admire him) 7. Jewel Kilcher (so she can teach me how to sing and play the guitar) 8. Maria Butyrskaya (great sports woman on ice) 9. Chris Pontius (as my personal date, he sooo cute, but he has to wear more than a thong tho) 10. Ainsley Harriot (great humor this man has, and ofcourse he can prepare a wonderful meal for all of us!) Yeah, I guess with these guests it would be a sensational dinner party! |

Hmmmm,....10 celebrities `eh?? Ok, here we go;
1. Kate Winslett - She is an excellent actress, and seems like a very down-to-earth person. Oh yeah, and she has big knockers. 2. Johnny Depp - A little weird, but he still seems like a cool guy. A very underrated actor in my opinion. 3. Ben Stiller - I dont know why, but this guy cracks me up. It`d be nice to have someone funny at the dinner. 4. Brad Pitt - Hey, he just seems like a cool guy. Someone who hasnt let the his own ego get in the way. Probably an all-around cool guy. 5. Steven Speilberg - One of the greatest directors of all-time, and the director of two of my favorite movies (Jaws and Jurassic Park) so his choice is a no-brainer. 6. Christopher Lee - Hey, this guy is the freakin' man, and we should all bow down before his greatness. 7. Ian McKellen - I know it seems like im on a LotR trip here, but this guy seems like a genuinely interesting person, who probably has alot of interesting things to talk about. 8. Tom Hanks - He has been in some really funny movies, some really good movies, and some really OK movies. The point in brining that up - I dont know. I just think it would be cool to have him there. 9. Bill Murray - Another guy that would probably just be fun to have around. Ya know, kinda like a dog that can do backflips. 10. Marisa Tomei - Just because she is a good actor, is very pretty, and there are no other girls here. 11. (I know its only supposed to be 10, but only 2 women!!?!??!?! Its not gonna fly) Cate Blanchett - Again, another interesting (seemingly) lady, who happens to look good, as well. Well, theres my list. I would probably just order alot of black-olive pizza from Pizza Hut, get a shit-load of Sprite, and bust of Catch Phrase (or some game like that). |

cool topic, here's my answers...
oh! i 4got who said it and i don't feel like checking but someone said that tim robbins and susan sarandon are married... newsflash! they're not, they just live together. k, now that i've cleared that up, here are my choices: 1.) Matt Damon- ULTRA hottie, but besides that, very talented actor, comedian, writer, and anything else he sets his mind to 2.) Steven Soderbergh- One of my favorite directors, he has such a talent! 3.) Christopher Nolan- The brilliant director of Memento, Insomnia and Following. He's also supposed to be a nice guy. 4.) Tim Roth- Amazing writer. He wrote Forrest Gump which keeps me in awe to this day. 5.) Tom Hanks- Fabulous actor and great guy. Did you guys catch the AFI thing for him? His speech was amazing and very heart felt. You can't help but love this guy. 6.) River Phoenix- Ever since Stand By Me, I've loved him. He was so gorgeaous and died too young. RIP. 7.) Ted Griffin- The writer of Ocean's 11. He took a potentially hard to understand, confusing topic, and turned it into a funny, entertaining movie. 8.) Akiva Goldsman- The genius writer of A Beautiful Mind and A Time To Kill. He has an amazing talent to give characters such depth, I need him at my party. 9.) Robbin Williams- To liven things up and to add some hilarious comedy. He's also an amazing actor, who hasn't given enough encouragement to let everyone understand his range. 10.) Quentin Tarantino- We have got to talk about Pulp Fiction. I fell in love with it and I want to know what he was thinking while making it, directing it, and watching the magic happen. Those are my pickens. Pretty good if I do say so myself, hope you thought so too! |

here is my pick of guests:
1. Christina Ricci (we'd probably end up talking about the end of the world or something...) 2. Drew Barrymore (i just think she'd be a ball , daahling) 3. Riddley Scott and 4. Vangelis (i'd try top push an idea for a sci-fi movie, Foundation maybe, that would reunite them because i'm not counting 1492 as a successful reunion) 5. madonna (i'm pretty sure she'd be up for dancing while the others would only want to talk, well, Drew would probably join us too...) 6. Matt Damon (so i could try to get him in a dark corner and convince him to drop his pants... i'll ask him about doing a threesome with me and christina who is so... depressed. ;-P ) 7. Matthew Lillard (you'll see why) 8. Sean Connery (just to liven things up with his wits) 9. Marlene Dietrich (just to be able to give her a rose while i tell her of my immortal love and admiration) 10. Agatha Christie (so she could write a book based on the evening, re-telling the story of how Matthew Lillard gets killed during dinner) [This message has been edited by belphegor (edited 06-30-2002).] |
