With Sept.11th just 2 weeks away now I was wondering, is The Burning from MGM still on for this date? Thanks!

P.S.
Is Kill Bill - The Whole Bloody Affair 4-Discer still on for Nov.6th?

That's good news, 'cause I was fearing MGM might screw with us and change the date.

How about the "Kill Bill - The Whole Bloody Affair" 4-Discer? Is it still on for Nov.6th?

As far as "The Burning" goes, is it safe to assume that MGM won't change the release date between now and Sept.11th?
  #416
Old 08-30-2007, 04:47 PM
Dates for Live free or Die hard and Harry Potter added

Word has it I know Pronounce you will be moving up a week to Nov 6th

Since that's TWELVE days away, I think you can sleep at night knowing it should make street date. Unless, you know, stores forgot to order it or The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse show up.

so far no.....Sony has the rights to it. and they are releasing it in the UK First. on Oct 17th . so I am guessing sometime in late oct or early Nov for the US version.

Well, those sites could be wrong, too. Release dates get changed all the time, and as for the Simpsons Nov. release date, I reported it because it was announced on the front page of JoBlo.com, which I have always considered to be a reliable source.

Since First Snow with Guy Pearce was practically ignored in theatres - any sign of a release date?

Please.

REALDVDARTIST, please get in touch with Joblo staffer Johnny Moreno. He erroniously reported on Joblo's home/main page that the 4-Disc NC-17 Kill Bill was going to be released Dec.25th. I told him you could deny that date for certain and that your info. was on the up and up. So please contact him A.S.A.P.. Thank-you.

Ironically I bumped into my contact with Universal today and asked him about Kill Bill. The release is still UNKNOWN Martin...

I will let you know

Old 09-06-2007, 03:52 PM
Tanks! But I'd still like REALDVDARTIST to get in touch with Johnny Moreno. REALDVDARTIST has claimed he knows the official release date for sure (which he posted here as being Nov.6th).

I love how the Kingdom already has a (planned) date and hasnt even come out in theatres yet. The cycle truly is speeding up.

because of the success of dvd in all formats. Studios know that if the film bombs in theatres, they know at least they can make up some of the lost revenue on dvd. on the other hand. if the film goes above and beyond. like transformers or knocked up. the studio can bump it up. because it has already made its money back

for a film like the kingdom. i dont think the dvd date will stick. i have heard a lot of positive oscar buzz about it. so i guarantee that even though a date has been planned it will get pushed back. that date was set back when the kingdom had a date for late summer/early september.

i just can figure out. how a film like Nancy Drew or Who's your Caddy doesnt get announced the next month. both bombed and it looks like warner and genuis are either looking for perfect dates. or maybe maybe holding out until after the holidays....we shall see

thanks for the assurance RDA.

That's awesome -- even if X-mas is a weird day to release a film like this.
