That's awesome -- even if X-mas is a weird day to release a film like this.
even though the date is dec 25th, it will wind up being the 26th, yet 99.9% of video stores are open on xmas, so the date may stick

Kill Bill NC-17 aka the Whole Bloody Affair is offically Dec 25th.
It will be offically announced the second week in Oct by Genuis.

It helps that it's now official (?) but it would've been nicer if they released it sooner.

Ooh, thanks. Nice to see some special features, I was actually expecting a bare-bones DVD. Too bad I can't get the Blu-Ray though, unless I get a PS3 for Christmas or something. Oh well.

Don't know if this was posted yet or not, but Rush Hour 3 is supposedly coming out on Dec 26th
  #473
Old 09-23-2007, 01:45 AM
Hey Real DVD, got a question, not specific movie release date related, but kind of i guess! And i just assume you will know the answer! If not anyone can chime in:

Why would they release a big movie AFTER Christmas? Like the dude is saying Rush Hour 3 on Dec 26, that just seems like many people would buy that for an Xmas gift, and would do better as a mid December release? Do Gift Card Sales go into account in these situations, because so many people will be getting like Best Buy Gift Cards for xmas, so on Dec 26, people will go into the stores and be like "Oh Shit, Rush Hour 3, sweet ima get this"?

and also... just a few street date questions:

do you have the dates for IRON MAN or THE DARK KNIGHT yet?!? (just kidding... appreciate the work you do though dude... it helps me budget out my spending)!

well to be honest, YES, GIft card sales, and general sales for the month of december still count as holiday purchases.

I mean Rush Hour 3, Balls of Fury, and Brothers solomon street christmas week. therefore anyone who is returning merch that they dont want will get more titles to choose from during that period of time.

the Rush Hour Franchise has always Streeted the week after or of christmas for the past ten years, just the way things have worked. (funny side note, in ten years Chris tucker has made only three movies, and all three have been rush hour)

oh and those dates for Iron man and Dark Knight, lol....best bet will be next october and november, lol

thanks for the kind words

What about these?:

Jackie Brown (1997)

Money Talks (1997)

The Fifth Element (1997)

imdb.com says he was in all them (and I know his role in Element wasn't small).
