Yup Corey Taylor...Slipknot used to be my ultimate fav band and Corey Taylor was my #1 fav singer/songwriter but all has changed. No. I wouldn't call him a songwriter. He writes rhymes, granted. But not "songs" - which are defined as music and lyrics. So, by this rationale as well, one couldn't say that John Coltrane was a great songwriter, because he never wrote lyrics - just music.
