Hot damn, Black Christmas was creepy as hell

God, I love Netflix instant viewing. I finally got around to watching the original Black Christmas, and I absolutely loved it. First of all, Olivia Hussey was absolutely gorgeous in 1974. Every time the killer called, it was creepy as fuck (kudos to whoever was the actor that recorded those phone calls). And the eye in the door scene has got to be one of the creepiest things I have EVER seen. I nearly shat my pants. Completely wonderful film. Anyway, I want some more awesome slasher flicks. It's getting close to Halloween, bitches. RECOMMEND AWAY.

I agree, it's a very creepy film. It's one of my favorites. Are you looking for more serious type slashers like Black Christmas and Halloween? Or any and all slashers, which would include cheesy ones like Chopping Mall and Killer Party?

Honestly, it doesn't really matter. I haven't seen a good, creepy slasher in awhile (other than this one), so more would be awesome, but I do love a little cheese with my blood and titties.

I might go as far as to say that the original film is creepier than the original Halloween, especially noting the glints of light in the dark that shine on the killer's eyes at certain moments.

Black Christmas is indeed amazing and I try to pimp it on here and Bloody-Disgusting whenever I get the chance. Stay away from that blasted remake though, it's ridiculous and ruins the Billy/Agnus stuff by trying to explain/provide too much backstory. Honestly, I've never seen a slasher that creeped me out even half as much as Black Christmas (including TCM and Halloween and etc.). It's a one of a kind gem.

I just realized last night that what makes the film so damn creepy is that you NEVER see what the killer looks like. You see a silhouette here and there and the eye, of course, but you never get a good look at him. And from the phone calls, he sounds like a complete fucking psycho. Anyway, keep 'em coming guys!
