HELP!

I'm posting here because I believe it's a horror movie I'm thinking of but can't remember the damn name. Years ago I saw a movie involving a guy and what I believe was his girlfriend, or sister, (she was a blond with straight hair) who ended up being a murderer but you find out she's actually a robot that went bad. I was about 8 or 9 when I saw it and the only part of the movie I can remember is the end of the movie where the plastic of her face melts or gets torn off revealing the robot underneath. I pray someone knows this so I can put an end to this searching.

It's called Deadly Friend, starring the original Buffy...Kristy Swanson, and directed by Wes Craven! I've never seen it but I heard it was a dud!

DUDE, you are my hero. Thank you so much, that is exactly what it is, just read the IMDB description. I remember very little but I think I'm gonna hunt it out and give it another viewing 20 years later.

I just watched this not that long ago.. Its far far far from Wes Cravens best but I thought it was a fun film
