Blade of the Immortal has been my favorite manga for many years and I was really excited by it being made into an anime. I'd been saying ever since I first read it that it should be an anime so finally having it on DVD was great. Can't wait for the next installment

I was really digging this manga too but haven't kept up with it. I haven't had a chance to check out the anime. Does it stay true to the manga?

I haven't kept up as much as I used to either, but the anime is great and as far as I can remember it stays very true to the manga. The only thing missing is a disclaimer in the beginning explaining the origin and true meaning of the swastika lol
