Die Hard 25th anniversary
Next month brings the 25th anniversary of one of the best action movies and best Christmas movies ever.
i still remembered when i was 7 seeing this movie 4 times in theaters and blew me away out of my chair as it became one of my favorites and i enjoy watching it every Christmas as a tradition. I saw the sequels in theaters as well. |

Wouldn't the 25th anniversary be next July? July 1988 is when the original film was released.
It's unfortunate that I'm not really looking forward to the fifth movie next year. It looks like another average Bruce Willis action movie, no different than DH4. No true spirit or tone of the older Die Hard movies. |

Watched it again last night. Still holds up as a great action movie - arguably the greatest action movie of all time.

Damn a quarter of a century goes by pretty quick, doesn't it? I watched Die Hard again for Christmas time, probably for like the 8 billionth time...and it never gets old. Truly and classic and still one of the best action movies ever made.

Can't forget Die Hard with a Vengeance. That's the first one I saw in the theaters, and it blew my mind how awesome it was.

I was 11 when this came out; and out of any movie I regret not seeing in theaters, it would be this one.

Still the best of the series. Really in all honesty could've & probably should've been a stand-alone film. Didn't necessarily need (now) 4 sequels. However the sequels aren't all that bad, just not half as good as the original.

Well i thought parts 2 and 3 are worthy sequels with part 3 being THE best sequel in the franchise as both are entertaining and fun sequels to an action masterpiece, part 4 aka Die Hard in name only has NO place among the franchise as that PG-13 rated watered down piece of crap nearly crippled the franchise.

They are all worth my money. The first is the best and one of the great action movies of the last 25 years. I will see mother Russia as well
