New Swat Kats animated show in the works

I hear the creators of the original are gonna do a reboot for Toonami/Cartoon Network, sounds nice.

Anyone else remember the original show? loved it since i was 12 when it first aired on TBS 20 years ago and thought it kicked ass, it was unique, anime influenced and had action galore.

I think Brad Douriff should be Razor's voice on the new show.

I think I vaguely remember this show.

Cartoon Network hasn't had much success with these reboots. I really was into the Thundercats show, but it's already canceled. A few years back, they did the same thing with He-Man, which didn't last. And even before that, they did it with Johnny Quest. Huge marketing campaign, as the show aired on every channel Turner owned (CN, TNT, TBS) and it still failed.

Hopefully this one works out better.

I think Yoshiaka Kawajari of Ninja Scroll/Wicked City/Vampire Hunter D fame should be a guest director on the show including Aeon Flux/COPS(animated show)/Rugrats creator/designer and co-designer of the original Ninja Turtles/plus guest director of Animatrix Peter Chung should do an episode.

Who else thought Callie Briggs (the blonde secetary catgirl) was hot? i did when i was 12 and use to fantasize about her. She still is one good lookin' feline.
