Resident Evil Retribution: Opening Scene - Brilliant Or Not?

Resident Evil Retribution: Opening Scene - Brilliant Or Not?

I have to admit this is one of the coolest opening scenes of a movie I have seen in recent years. Mind you the movie was pretty average. But I love this video. The music is called "Flying Through The Air" by Tomandandy. When I first rented this on dvd, I actually watched the intro a few times before getting into the actual film. I think it's cool.

Resident Evil Retribution: Opening Scene

What do you think? Creative? Or just crap?

I also enjoyed this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA7YC88ap5Y

If we're talking stylish, horror-esque music videos you have my vote. Otherwise... best scenes; no. Not opening, not core and not climax. Its a slow build to a... quick reaction?

Liu Kang vs Reptile. Go.

It looks cool, I suppose. But there is no real point to it. And the movie is garbage. There really is only one good scene in the movie. And that's the scene that is very similar to the opening of Dawn of the Dead (remake). But the rest of the movie sucks big time.

There is only one reason to watch the movie: Sienna Guillory in a sexy leather outfit. But you can probably find screen caps for that online and save yourself 90 minutes of your time.

I enjoyed Retribution and I really liked the opening scene. The music contributes a lot to the coolness factor.
