Titles with a city in it

Make your top ten of films with a city in the title. You can't use the same city twice. E.g. if you include "2 Days in Paris" you can't include "Last Tango in Paris" or "Midnight in Paris".

1. Casablanca
2. Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez
3. Brighton Rock (1947)
4. Death in Venice
5. 2 Days in Paris
6. Room in Rome
7. Vicky Cristina Barcelona
8. A Chump at Oxford
9. Sleepless in Seattle
10. The Lady from Shanghai

1. Tokyo Story
2. Paris, Texas
3. The Battle Of Algiers
4. L.A. Confidential
5. Manhattan
6. Leaving Las Vegas
7. Nashville
8. Chungking Express
9. Meet Me In St. Louis
10. Atlantic City

If this list could include small towns and neighborhoods, Matewan would be my #2 and Chinatown would be my #3.

Neat thread idea.

1.) The Battle of Algiers
2.) Paris, Texas
3.) Harlan County, USA (Harlan is a city, the county seat)
4.) Last Tango in Paris (different Paris)
5.) Nashville
6.) Tokyo Story
7.) Woodstock
8.) Leaving Las Vegas
9.) Fargo
10.) Manhattan

Wanted to include Last Year at Marienbad, but it's just a small town, so not sure it counts.

Yes, "Der Himmel über Berlin" would count.

I suppose Manhattan is defensible because there is a city with that name. According to that logic however "Paris, Texas" couldn't be in the same list as "Last Tango in Paris".

If you want to be technical, the ACTUAL story takes place in one of the cities along Philadelphia's Main Line...
